Believe it or not, Ahri-Yung did believe in a Doomsday. She'd just never admit it. Not to herself or to idiots like Baekhyun. But the whole scenario get hards to deny when she gets swept up into one herself, making reality relative to space and time.

At one time, before the Earth as we know it was habitable, there were two moons. And even while the Earth as we know it was un-inhabitable, there was life.
And also death.
December 21, 2012.
The Mesoamerican Mayan culture followed a Long Count calendar that pins the end of the fifth age, the 13th b'ak'tun, to the end of the year 2012. There, their calendar ends.
The accuracy of ancient Mayan sciences continues to baffle experts to this day. Their predictions have been eerily consistent. Evidence suggests that the end of the calendar symbolizes an Armageddon.
On this day, December 21, it's rumored that a series of cataclystic or transformative events will take place.
Mayan gods, who might have actually been alien life forms, could return to Earth.
The linear alignment of the Earth, the Sun, and the super massive black hole at the center of our galaxy could lead to the annihilation of the entire universe.
A massive solar flare could trigger geomagnetic reversal, turning nature against us.
The sun falling out of the galactic plane might produce another mass extinction similar to that which exterminated the dinosaurs.
Planet X and planet Earth may collide.
The possibilities are endless. There are dozens of legitimate theories. Everyone has their own opinion.
Except for Ahri-Yung Sam. She doesn't believe in a Doomsday. Rather, she doesn't want to believe in a Doomsday. She just wants to make it through college -- which means she wants to live long enough to make it through college.
A Doomsday of any sort would sort of ruin that plan. But what if a Doomsday didn't necessarily mean death? What if there was more to life than being a studious student? More to life than this human race?
What if there was more to life than this dimension?
By the end of it all, Ahri-Yung may be praying for the Doomsday she'd denied.
Foreword
[--Ohoho, so dramatic.
This idea stemmed not only from the lyrics to "Two Moons," but from the fact that there really was at one time two moons orbiting the Earth. There'll also be elements from the Mayan Calendar controversy. I did a lot of research recently for my astronomy class.
Naturally, I related it all to EXO.
This story will be challenging for me; I've never written my own original fantasy type of plot. I also usually know who my OC will be paired with beforehand, but this time we're all going to see how that aspect plays out together.
Please, please, please provide feedback. Feedback is sort of like payment, so the more I get, the more I'm willing to work. You guys really play an important role, so please don't be silent! I think I'm going to need more critique with this fic than any other that I've ever done. I'm super thankful for any and all support. <3
I don't read too many AU fics, but I know there are a slew of stories involving EXO and their alien aliases. If there are any withstanding similarities between my version of SM's vision and another author's it is purely coincidental. On the other end of the coin, this is my version of SM's vision. So it's my vision. Plagiarism is lame. Especially when you plagiarize fanfiction. That's just kind of sad. Really, what's the point? Don't do it.
