A/N: This story is part of my paranormal investigator AU verse. It can probably be read on its own, but unless you are familiar with the terminology and all it might be a bit confusing. For those who have read the main fic, this story takes place about two years prior to that, meaning it is sadly a few months before Kai and Sehun join the team. They also don't have the office yet, and Tao and Kris aren't together yet (though they're sort of on their way to that). Because the M members haven't moved to California, Lay and Luhan are also sadly absent (and Chanyeol isn't in it for obvious reasons XD).
