"W-wait. What did you just say?" stuttered Hyuna with her eyes blinking rapidly

"You, you're going to London?" asked the oldest one, Nam Jihyun

While giving an apologetic smile, Sohyun replied, "Uh". Which she meant as yes

For a moment, there's some kind of silence engulfed their surrounding. Until Jiyoon broke it with her awkward laugh. "Ahaha..... Kkwonsso, you win. You were trying to prank us right?"

Then, all of them except for Sohyun started laughing and making jokes. "What the-  and here l thought you were leaving for real" joked Hyuna

"You really got us there Sohyun-ah" said Gayoon

"Aniya....." Sohyun interrupted and she managed to gain their attention. She continued, "Unnie, l'm really going to London. l'm going to continue my study there"

"You can't be serious Sohyun-ah. l mean, you've just transferred THIS YEAR. Moreover, it's not even a year you've been here." Hyuna tried to convince her

"You really going to leave?" asked Jihyun

Sohyun could only nod her head. She examined all of their faces and she knew that she will feel guilty. But this is the promise that she already made with Krystal. She also took halmeoni advised, that is to believe that the decision that she already made is for the best. Of course, she didn't tell them anything about the real situation and she decided to leave it be. Suddenly, her ears perked up at the sound of soft sobs, and she could see that Hyuna's eyes started welling up. Hugging her, Sohyun said, "Don't cry. lf you cry, you're going to make me cry too"

Without she could even react, the others already gave her a group hug, and that made her touched

"Do your best in London, Sohyun-ah" Gayoon try to gave her an encouragement

"Don't worry. l will" reply Sohyun

After releasing each other, Jiyoon brought up a question, "When are you leaving?"

"l'm not quite sure. As soon as possible, maybe?" she replied

"Can't you stay until the school festival is over?" Hyuna brought up another question

Since Sohyun is a transferred student, she didn't really know about it. "School festival?"

"Yeah. lt's only around the corner anyway" said JIhyun

After tapping her chin for a few seconds, Sohyun finally gave a reply, "l'll try"

"Does L.joe know about this?" Gayoon suddenly asked

Forcing a smile, she answered, "lt's okay. He doesn't need to"

After the conversation with her friends, Sohyun excused herself, saying that she need to go ro the restroom. Here she is, in front of a mirror, with her face dripping wet from the water. She look at the mirror and gave herself a smile, "That's right Kwon Sohyun. This is for the best." She even playfully slapped her cheek a few times and nodded to herself to cheer up

Sohyun's body jolted up at the sound of a loud noise. After a minute, she realised that it was the school bell ringing, indicating the recess is over. She hurriedly took out a handkerchief from her pocket to wipe her wet face and step out from the restroom. As she was busy folding and keeping back her handkerchief, she didn't realised there was a boy, standing a few meters from her

When she raised her head, she saw L.joe with his gaze that never left her. Sohyun felt a little awkward since it's just the two of them there. Afraid that it will be more awkward, Sohyun left for the class first. But L.joe sudden action make her shocked to death. Sohyun could feel a pair of hands was resting on her shoulder while L.joe was muttering, "Sorry...."

Confused, Sohyun turned around to have a better view of him and asked, "What?"

"l'm sorry, for last night. lt's just that, l felt very tired yesterday. So, my mind is quite....... you know..." L.joe try to gave an excuse

Suddenly, a feeling of relief rushed into Sohyun. 'So he's not avoiding me? That's good, l guess.' She thought to herself. She even pressed her lips together to fight back her smile from forming. While averting her gaze to somewhere else, she tried to change the subject. "So, uh..... l've heard that the school festival is just around the corner"

"Yeah..... it's on 20th, and this year we're going to perform again" reply L.joe

 "Last time, you said that you want to perform your own song"

Looking outside the window, he reply, "l'm starting to doubt about that"

Sohyun studied his face and saw an unsincere smile forming on his lips. Without a warning, she took both of his hands and that made his eyes widen. She drew a star on his palm and after that she placed his hands on her forehead, making her look like she was praying. At that moment, L.joe couldn't averted his eyes from her. Heck, he didn't even want to. After a few seconds, she look at him and say, "You're going to be alright." She even gave him a sweet smile that he never seen before, and that made his heart fluttered

With a swift movement, he pulled her into an embrace and whisper into her ear, "Thanks....."

Sohyun couldn't help but melt at those words. 'Since this is going to be the last time, l guess it's fine'

Then, L.joe interrupted her thought, "Wait a sec"

"Hm?" Sohyun asked

"You just came out from there, didn't you?" he asked as he pointed out to the restroom

"Yeah....?" Sohyun tilted her head in confusion

With a playful smirk, L.joe reply, "l bet you didn't washed your hands. Eww....." he make a disgusted face

Sohyun on the other hand already had opened in disbelief. "You really like to pick a fight with me, don't you?"

"What can l say. Annoying you is my best hobby so far." He reply and stuck out his tongue

While cracking her fist, she said, "and you know what, beating you up is my best activity"

"lf you can catch me" and with that, he ran away leaving Sohyun alone, dumbfounded

"YAH...!!! LEE BYUNGHUN...!!!"

School's already over and all of the students already went back home. Now, Sohyun is in her room, complaining non-stop. "Way to go L.joe. You really know how to ruin the mood." lf someone is watching her, they probably thought something is wrong with her head

"Oh yeah, Hyuna unnie gave me a lollipop just now. l think l put it in my bag" she told herself and began to her bagpack. "Ah, here it is." She found the lollipop. When she was about to take the lollipop, Sohyun saw a normal-sized white envelope in her bag

"What's this? l don't remember having this" she asked herself as she took out the lollipop along with the envelope. She unwrapped the plastic and started to the lollipop. After that, she open the envelope. Much to her surprise, it was a plane ticket with her name on it

"Plane ticket? She must've put it when l'm not in the class" she said as she imagined Krystal placed the envelope in her bag. She continue to scan it and her eyes landed on the date. "20th..... the same date as the school festival" 

"l guess l have to leave right away after the school festival ended" she continue eyeing the ticket. Her thoughts was interrupted when she heard a knock. "J-just a sec" she try to hide the plane ticket in panic. After she succeed in hiding it, she opened her door

"Halmeoni need your help" said L.joe

"Oh, arasso" reply Sohyun as she continue her lollipop

L.joe who watched her action started to tease, "Wow... how can someone be so ugly when a lollipop?"

"MWO-" she yelled

L.joe took that chance to pull out the lollipop from and popped it into his. He started to and the lollipop. Sohyun could feel that she is blushing hard when he did that

"Grape? .....Not bad" he continue to it as he left her and went donwstairs

While trying to cool down her cheeks, she said to herself, "Aish... he really is bad for my heart"
