I slowly opened my eyes and what greeted me was the delicious smell of pancakes!

-"Smells good..." I whispered 

-"You awake? Are you hungry?" Luhan said

-"Mmmm... Yeah..." I replied sleeply "I'll go to the comfort room first"

I stepped out of the cf and saw Luhan on the table and two plates with blueberry pancakes on them, I sat on the chair across from his and we both ate. Today it was still raining as heavy as it was yesterday if not worse! We ate in silence adn stole ocassional glances at each other but it never became awkard.

-"Do you have any plans of going home? I really hope not. The rain is too heavy for you to leave...." He asked while washing the dishes

-"I thought about it but I won't be able to...." I sighed looking outside the window at the falling drops of water from the sky....

And just like that, in the rain and inside this little cottage me and Luhan spent a week...No, we never did anything romantic! But we became great friends, we knew bassically everything about each other....yeah being stuck inside with a complete stranger makes one study their every move and ask every possible question! 

I learned that Luhan is Chinese, 22 years old, he has a twin brother named Sehun who visits him often with his wife and kids. I also learned he was recently dumped by his girlfriend of two years for some other guy and well basically every little detail about him! I had heard him singing a couple of times and we even wrote a song together.

One day we went out to the porch and Luhan had his guitar in hand while I had a pen and notebook in hand. Luhan started playing random cords and wrote a beautiful melody. He asked me to help him write lyrics and we did, we sat there all day on the proch under the rain writing a song. The song was about being with your soulmate and messing up and having issues but knowing that no matter what happens you can never leave that person or be away from them because you would just feel lost...

BETTER THAN I KNOW MYSELF

Luhan's POV

One day, like any other rainy day, I was playing around with my Rubick's cube while Lunah read a book when I got a brilliant idea. I smirked to myself and called Lunah's attention

-"Hey Lu," 

-"Yes Lu?" she never did look up from her book

-"Come on, I wanna show you somthing outside..." I stood up from the chair and waited for her to do the same. I led her outside and stood on the porch

(This is the cottage if you were wondering) 

-"What is it?" she asked looking at the rain

-"This," I smiled and pushed her causing her to get drenched in water

-"HEY!! THAT'S NOT FAIR!" she yelled and before I knew it I was also standing outside drenched in water

-"Yah! This wasn't part of the plan!" I chuckled "Come here! I'm getting my payback!" we chased eachother under the rain, shared laughs and crazy stories while pulling pranks on each other. It went on like this for the rest of the day.

-"We should go inside, it's gettin late and we could get sick. Come on.." I stood up from the floor and offered her my hand, she took it and I pulled her up

-"I'm hungry as well... I wanna cook something!" she said rather excitedly and ran towards the cottage pulling me with her. I chuckled at her sillyness 

-"If you want to cook than shower first, I'll wait here" I sat down on a chair in the kitchen and grabbed my Rukick's cube from the table and played with it while I waited for her to finish.

-"I'm done! Now hurry and shower, I want you to help me cook!" she stepped out of the cf wearing my flannel polo shirt and her jean shorts. I must admitt she looks y "Lu?" I hadn't noticed I was staring until she cleared

-"Sorry..." I quickly looked away and stood up rishing past her to the cf

Lunah's POV

I was cutting some vegetables when I herd the cf room's door creak open and Luhan's footsteps. I never turned around to look at him but I knew he was standing a couple of steps behind me

-"Would you mind cutting these up for me?" I turnued around and handed him the knife I was holding "I wanna finish the cake" 

-"Sure" he smiled and grabbed the knife from my hands "You bake?" 

-"I studied culinary arts and worked in various restaurants and bakeries...so yeah I bake" he released a small chuckle and turned slightly to look at me

-"Learn something new everyday" I giggled and turned my attention back to frosting my cake

After dinner we slouched on the couch watching movies, after the third one I was already pretty tired of it so I stood up and walked over to the window

-"Do you think the rain will ever stop?" I asked mostly to myself

-"Maybe not....Maybe we're ment to be forever in this lone forest together..." Luhan sai whispering the last part but I still heard it

-"You think that too?" he was clearly startled by my answer but still nodded

-"What do you mean 'too'? Do you honestly believe we are meant to be here together?" he ased confused

-"Well maybe....Luhan it's been two weeks!! Two weeks of nonstop raining! You can;t tell me that means nothing..." I turned and looked at him in the eyes we stayed in silence looking at each other for what seemed like decades

-"I think you're right....and there's something I have to tell you Lunah..." he had turned off the tv and was walking over to me. Luhan stood infron of me and grabbed my hands in his never breaking from our stares

-"I love you Lunah! I really love you Lunah..." I was shocked by his sudden confession and I didn't know what to do but he just waited patiently for my answer

-"I love you too Luhan" I had finally found my words. He smiled hugely and started dragging me outside "What are you doing?"

-"There's something I've always wanted to do" he said and we stopped infront of the cottage under the rain "Lunah, will you be my girlfriend?" 

-"Yes" I said with a smile and he suddenly grabbed my waits and pulled me closer and closer untli our lips met. I closed my eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck. It was the perfect kiss, under the rain with the man I love.
