EXTRACT

There was something intriguing about drafting new blueprints, Donghae thinks. The layers of different floors piled on top of the other and so forth, resembles evolving stages in life Donghae imaginatively conjures. The more complexity, the further you navigate through adulthood, and then the roof is the lid that holds everything together tightly. It is, in an alternative perspective, a solid embodiment of someone's life story, complete with curves and linear paths of one's journey. The design depends entirely on the person; the more distinct it is, the more anticipating the story is.

Donghae smiles. Design, he surmises, is a great thing indeed.
