Turn the Crank

Description

Minho sits motionless in the dark of his bedroom; cheek pressed against papers scattered along the desk. He stares blankly at the wall, eyelids drooping, pupils silver lined milky ways being into a black hole. A small crank is nestled in his palm, his free hand caressing the base of a box gently. Foreword

This is my first official 2min story. There are two different versions of this story: the SHINee version and the original (SHINee version inspired by the original story I created). This story is intended to be short. It was supposed to be four chapters long, but will end up being longer.

During the creation of this story, I realized how it is a reflection of my point of view on love; I’m inspired by it, but detached from it.

There is a materialistic love I relate to here, a love grounded more in objects and where that kind of love leads too. This story is not based on physical interactions, but in the love we find in materialistic things that may lead us to love someone; how that kind of love shapes us, what it does to us emotionally.

Thank you for deciding to read this short tale. Enjoy.
