After a while, all three of them went downstairs to join Taemin for dinner and Key saw that Taemin had barely touched his food, he was just mindlessly pushing it around his plate with a small smile on his face. Minho also saw it as he sat beside Taemin and placed his hand on Taemin’s shoulder, scaring the boy.

                “Minnie, are you okay? You’re not eating a lot, are you feeling sick?” Minho placed his hand on Taemin’s forehead and cheeks, making him blush.

                “You’re actually feeling warm” Taemin pushed Minho’s hand away and said that he was fine, Taemin quickly ate his food and excused himself.

                “I’m going upstairs to check on Yoogeun” and he left the table, leaving a very confused Minho at the dining table.

                “What happened? All I did was touch him, why did he run away? Did I do something wrong?” Key sighed at Minho’s stupidity as he smacked Minho’s head.

                “Sometimes you are really dense, you didn’t do something wrong, you did everything right! Taemin ran away because he realized that he has fallen in love you but was too embarrassed to admit it! Didn’t you see his face go red?” Minho shook his head, Jonghyun also laughed at his blindness, even he wasn’t that blind! Finallly, it was as if something inside Minho’s head clicked and he smiled widely.

                “So you’re saying that Taemin likes me? Does that mean he accepts me into his life?” Key and Jonghyun could not believe how someone could be so slow. They didn’t even bother answering him as they cleaned up the plates and went upstairs. Minho sat at the table for a few more minutes before he decided to go upstairs. He went upstairs and saw Taemin sitting on the bed with Yoogeun in his arms; Minho slowly opened the door and saw Taemin look up.

                “Minnie, I know why you ran away from me, I’m sorry for making you feel uncomfortable, do you want to come home with me? There’s nothing here and Yoogeunnie’s thing is at my house” Taemin thought about it and decided to follow Minho home, he said good bye to his umma and appa, but not without them threatening Minho one last time, making Taemin giggle. When they got home, Minho’s umma was already asleep so they quietly went upstairs.

                “Are you hungry? It looks like you barely at anything during dinner, do you want something to eat?” just as Taemin was about to decline the offer, his stomach betrayed him and growled loudly. Taemin placed Yoogeun in his crib and gently pulled the cover on him.

                “Come on, I’ll make you something to eat” Minho grabbed Taemin’s arm and pulled him downstairs, the maid was about to help with the food but Minho told her to go to sleep early. Now, it was only the two of them in the kitchen, Minho looked in the fridge and saw that there were many ingredients but he didn’t know how to make any of them. Taemin sighed as he saw Minho standing by the fridge, he pushed Minho away.

                “Sit down and let me make it” Taemin got the ingredients and began to start chopping and seasoning, he decided to make his favourite dish. After 15 minutes, it was done.           

                “Wow, it tastes really good! You can really cook Minnie!” Taemin blushed; it was his first time cooking for someone else.

                “This is my favourite dish, it was the only dish I was about to eat without throwing up when I was carrying Yoogeunnie” Minho stopped chewing; he heard from his umma that when an umma carries their baby, it’s one of the hardest thing to do. The only thing that helped her along the way was support and love from people, something that Taemin didn’t receive from him.

                “I thought you were hungry, how come you’re not eating?” Taemin shook his head.

                “I made it for you, it seems like it’s a dish that you like too, something that you and Yoogeunnie have in common” Taemin gave him a small smile before he got up and went to do the dishes. Minho followed him and grabbed Taemin’s arm, he pulled him back and sat Taemin on his lap. Minho picked up the spoon and held it against Taemin’s lips.

                “You have to eat too, I can’t be that selfish. I promise to create new memories with you, let this be one of our new, happy memories” Taemin blushed as he slowly opened his mouth and allowed Minho to feed him. Not long after, the food was finished and both of them were full. They both decided to get ready for bed, Minho wanted Taemin to sleep in his bed but he didn’t know how to ask. As he watched Taemin go into the guest room, he wanted to call him back and ask him, but his chance was gone when Taemin said good night and closed his door. Everything was going fine; Taemin had just finished getting ready for bed when the lights suddenly went out. Taemin didn’t like the dark, he always his banana night light before he went to sleep, but since the power went out, nothing worked.

                “Minho...I’m scared” Taemin whimpered as he sat down on the floor and pulled his knees towards his chest. He didn’t like how in the dark he wasn’t able to see anything. Suddenly, he heard the door open, Taemin couldn’t see who it was at the door, he pulled his knees closer and placed his head on his knees, he didn’t know who was coming into his room. It was all silent until Taemin felt someone grab his shoulder.

                “NO!! GET AWAY FROM ME!!” Taemin screamed as he tried to get away but that someone stopped him.

                “Minnie, it’s me, Minho!” Taemin stopped and flung himself into Minho, or wherever he was. Minho wrapped his arms around Taemin’s waist and pulled him up.

                “I was so scared, Minho! I don’t like the dark and my banana night light wasn’t working!” Taemin began to cry, he knew he shouldn’t but he couldn’t help himself. Minho carried Taemin bridal style into his own room and placed him on the bed.

                “Minnie, look up” Taemin removed his head from Minho’s shoulder and looked up, he stared up in awe. Instead of a ceiling, it was a huge skylight; the light from the moon and the stars was bright enough to create a dim glow in the room.

                “Wow...”Taemin whispered as he continued to look at the sky.

                “Sometimes when I can’t sleep, I would stare at the stars; it looked so peaceful and beautiful. Not as beautiful as you though” Taemin blushed and gently smacked Minho. He always knew how to make Taemin embarrass and blush. Minho lied down and gently pulled Taemin down beside him, Taemin laid his head on Minho’s chest and continued to stare at the sky, he had never felt so safe in someone’s arms other than his umma’s. Minho looked down and saw that Taemin had already fallen asleep; he pulled the covers over their bodies and wrapped his arm around Taemin’s body. He liked this feeling; maybe he’ll ask Taemin if he wanted to share the bed with him every night from now on.
