In that one moment, his entire world had come crashing down, splintering like wood, and shattering into a million shards of glass. 

He'd never wanted any of this, but then again, he'd never told himself that the world was a nice place to be in. All he'd ever wanted was to live a life worth living, but was it really his life if it was going to be controlled? Was it really worth it?

Was everthing that came with it, the tears, the laughter, the pain, the joy ... Was it all really worth it if he was going to have this blackout in his heart?
