First songfic, no idea how it’s supposed to work, but I’ll just throw together a few ideas anyway. Jokwon x Gain, with random third party of a scum featuring heavily in the piece. Attempts to figure out who the scum is will fail, because I myself do not have a mental image of who this scum is, so it probably is whoever you want it to be.

Well, maybe my disappointment with Gain’s new album spawned this. It’s not that it’s bad, it’s that it’s not Gain. I could rant about this but never mind. I don’t know, but I absolutely adore Confessions of a Friend. It is my favourite song from 2AM, and is also the song that got me into 2AM. Yes, unlike my previous disclaimers, I do really like BEG and 2AM.

Honestly, as much as I hope that they’re together, part of me believes that the entertainment industry too stressful and Jokwon too young (and too full of promise, applies for Gain too) for it to work out permanently. Then again, they’re two unique characters, so I might be wrong. I do see them leaving things as they are, strange or awkward as they might be, and hopefully *fingers crossed* go on to pursue it at a more appropriate (acceptable by idol standards) time.

Though the parallels in We Fell in Love are definitely more apparent and potentially much easier to write, not to mention that I adore the song too, I do feel that Confessions of a Friend is particularly beautiful. Okay, maybe I’m also thoroughly incapable of writing happy, fluffy stuff, but that’s up to you to decide.
