“Baekhyun oppaaaaa~” two little girls wearing frilly sundresses ran towards a little boy sitting in the sandbox holding hands. The little boy looked up when he heard his name being called and smiled brightly when he saw the two girls running towards him.

                “Alice-ah, Annie-ah!” he called back, smiling. The little girls ran up to him and sat next to him in the sandbox.

                “Oppa.” One of the little girls called him.

                “Wae? What is it?” he asked her in Konglish (English mixed with Korean).

                “When we’re older, we’ll always be best friends, right?” the other asked shyly.

                “Of course! We’ll never split up!” he said proudly. Then they could hear their parents calling for them to leave to park and the all got up, held hands and ran over to their waiting parents.

~~~~~~~~~~12 years later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

                “Baekhyun!” a girl wearing a white v-neck with a dark grey cardigan over it, faded skinny jeans, and red converse ran over to Baekhyun from down the hall called, slinging her canvas backpack over her shoulder.

                “Annie~” he called back, waving at her. Once she reached him, they casually exchanged hugs and then pulled away to give each other a little space.

                “Where’s Alice?” he asked, looking back down the hallway expecting Alice to follow slowly.

                “I dunno I was texting her and she said she was on her way to school already, but I guess she’s not here yet..” she answered and looked at her phone again.

                “Ah! That’s right! What’s your schedual this year?” She asked him, taking her class schedule out of her pocket.

                “Oh! That’s right!” He said, taking his schedule out of his backpack pocket.

                “Omo! We have all of the same classes!!!!!" she said excitedly and jumped happily. Then she turned to her right and saw Alice running towards them.

                “Alice!!!” she called and ran over to hug her.

                “ANNIE!!!!!! I HAVEN’T SEEN YOU IN FOREVEEEEEER!” she yelled, giving Annie a hug.

                “Yah, we all saw each other yesterday remember?” Baekhyun asked them as he walked over.

                “Baekhyun Byun. Do you seriously want to meet the wrath of the green onions?!” Alice asked him jokingly.

                “Alice, what’s with you and your green onions?!” Annie asked her, nudging her shoulder.

                “What? They’re the best vegetable ever!” she retorted and they all laughed.

                After exchanging schedules, they went looking for their classes together, searching for the ones they didn’t know. They also found out that Alice has the same classes as them too.

                “This is going to be a great year~” Alice said when they reached the top of C-building and looked down at the whole school.

                “Un! I agree~” Annie said after.

                “Na doo!” Baekhyun followed.

But they don’t even know what events are awaiting for them…yet.
