Prologue

Yeeuk, Lustful sorrow

It was a day like all days of autumn. It was a cloudy, boring day, close to bleak and not too far from depressive. Only the cool and transparent droplets, falling form the sky, kept me from falling back into a deep sleep. Looking at those tiny beads of water plummeting to their death made me remember... remember the day I met him... The perfect man...

Rain. It cleanses the world of all that is unclean. Some say it's God's tears. The more “natural” people believe it's mother Nature's way of purifying the Earth. Most people, though, no longer believe in such stories. They prefer the rational way of things. Yesung was one of these people. He never believed in fairytales, even when he was a kid. His mom was a fervent spiritualist who believed in Nature's spirit, but no matter what she said or did to try and convince him, Yesung never believed her. Or, to be more accurate, he refused to believe. That said, his disbelief didn't prevent the young man from respecting life, in all it's forms...

Once, there was a prince who respected all life, from the mightiest falcon to the tiniest beetle. He was loved by all, except for one person who envied his beautiful heart. One day, the young prince went into the forest for his morning walk. As he walked silently through the peaceful forest, the sound of a struggling bird caught his attention. The worried prince hurried to the agonizing creature's side, immediately releasing it form the vines that trapped it's delicate wings. Freed, the flawless dove transformed into an angel, the young ruler's one true love. Legend has it, that when the prince saw the dove's true form, he fell in love with it instantly. Blinded by hate and jealousy, the prince's page tried to kill the young lovers. Not about to let his lover die, the angel sacrificed himself. Feathers flew all around the young prince... His eyes filled with endless rivers, promising to flow till all time stopped... Then, when all hope seemed lost, a gentle hand slowly wiped the prince's lonely tears and before he could utter a word, the angel whispered...

- In two years, my love...”

- What happened?! Did the angel return to the prince?!

- It doesn't say... But, everyone believes the angel returned to the prince, as promised, after two long years.
