Your voice was starting to get a bit husky from the endless shouting between you and Kai, but that didn't stop you from standing your ground. The car sped up with every screaming word you threw at each other. He was driving way beyond the limit now, but that wasn't a matter of concern right now.

"How could I turn it down?" he shot back, and you could feel your body drag back against the seat as he pressed down on the pedal, "Do you know how popular that show is?!"

"So?! You're just gonna do it for the fame?" your voice still loud. He didn't answer, but you could feel his temper with every breath he took.
