Home sweet home

When we pulled up to the police station I knew I had made the wrong decision. He was going to turn me in, I knew it. He came around the side of the car
and opened the door for me. I stepped out and crossed the parking lot towards my doom.
Once inside, I took a seat and the officer questioned me. He asked things such as what happened to my parents and how I had been surviving so well. I
gave in and spilled my story out to him. A strange glint formed in his eyes almost as if he was impressed.
"Stay with me," he blurted out. My eyes widened in surprise. "You can't stay in hotels forever" he said sincerely.
This may not be as bad as I imagined. I now had the opportunity to continue a life in Korea, although my parents may not agree. My heart swelled with
happiness and I nodded in compliance.
