“Sasaeng fans” is another term for stalker. These sasaeng fans are not famous for stalking these idols, but their doings and their ways. Some idols and managers know some groups of sasaeng fans by names and their facial features. These so called “fans” will try to physically holdonto idols, swear, and insult them. They will also touch them at inappropriate places, hit and bruise the idols. And last but not least,follow them. They will knock on the manager’s van and get them to open the window, bruise the members’ faces the leave marks, and pull their hair to “keep”. The managers must constantly protect protect these idols from harm and molestation. Sometimes managers have to defend the idols by beating back at the sasaeng fans.

There are many fanaccounts and blogs of sasaeng fans on various websites who write things like, “I touched his ! I grabbed his crotch! I slapped his face and now he has a bruise made by me!” These fans also call the idols asking, “Where are you? Tell me where you are!” and try various methods in tracking down the idols. As they wait outside buildings, fans smoke and throw burnt out cigarettes at the buildings, scream in the middle of the night outside their dorms to get the members’ attention, etc.

[EXO-M’s Situation] Other sasaeng fans travel by taxi. They have to pay the taxi driver a large sum of money, and in return they follow the idol(s) for 24 hours.
