The knock on the door woke 7 years old Ryeowook up. The little girl rub her eyes cutely and turn to

her umma. “Wae, umma?” she ask. Mrs. Kim smile and ruffle her daughter’s hair slowly.

 

“Wookie-ah, there’s someone who wants to see you. I’ll let him come in okay?”

 

Her umma said and got out. After a while, she came back with a boy behind her. Ryeowook

immediately recognize him. Who wouldn’t when you spend most of your time with him.

 

“Jongwoon-oppa”” she squeal smiling weakly.  Jongwoon who was hiding behind Mrs. Kim poke his

head out and look at Ryeowook who held her hand out. Jongwoon smile and walk towards his

bestfriend, taking his steps slowly. When he reach her side, he hold her hands and squeeze them

slightly.

 

“Oppa” her voice was frail and weak but she still keep the smile on her face.

 

“Wookie-ah” the both of them were to absorb staring at each other that they didn’t relies her mother

went out of the room.

 

“Jongwoon-oppa, I’m glad you came”

 

She said smiling brightly. Ryeowook tried to sit up but Jongwoon had force her to sit down.

 

“No need Wookie. You’re still sick” he said giving her his cheeky smile. Ryeowook giggle and did

what like he wants her to.

 

"Wookie, you’re sick again aren’t you”

 

He said and put his hand on her forehead. He frown.

 

“You need to take care of yourself if you wanna play with me at the park again”

 

Jongwoon said smiling brightly.

 

“You know, there’s so many flowers at the park. You can play with my new friends too”

 

Jongwoon blabber not noticing the pout on Ryeowook’s face.

 

“Oppa has a new friend?” she ask. Jongwoon chuckle slightly and nod.

 

“Neh, but Wookie is still oppa’s favorite” he said and peck her lips. Ryeowook blush.

 

“Wookie-ah, promise oppa one thing”

 

Jongwoon said and Ryeowook look at him curiously.

 

“What is it?”

 

She ask.

 

“Promise me that Wookie will be healthy and your heart will be healthy too. And we will forever be

together forever, arasseo”

 

Jongwoon said holding his pinky finger out. Ryeowook smile and did the same thing.

 

“I promise oppa. We will forever be together”

Jongwoon gasp as he woke up from the dream. Tears fell on his cheeks remembering the past. He

look at the picture frame which was put on the side table. He took it and hug the picture. The picture of

his love, Kim Ryeowook. Tears fell even more when he remembered the past.

 

“Kim Ryeowook, where are you when I need you”

 

He whisper tears spill even more. Why? Why does he need to dream about it? The day when they

made the promise. Even though it has been about 10 years since that day occurred, he still

remembered it. It was still fresh in his mind.

 

“Ryeowook, you promise. You promise you’ll be forever with me. You promise but look right now. You

left me. A-alone forever” he sob even more.

 

“I promise, oppa. We will forever be together”

 

"You promise you would stay with me, forever"

 

“You promise”
