Shinhye POV

I went inside the building, I am sure everyone is looking at me in a weird way, why? Did I

forget to wear my dress. I instinctively look down. A relief sigh escape wheew, I am dressed

but why are they looking at me like that? I tried to shrug that awkward feeling when I

reached the office floor. As soon as I enter the office, hyekyo eonnie and hana eonnie stopped

whispering with each other and went to their respective desk. What is wrong with these

people really. Is this dress really unappropriate for work? but it is nothing but simple. A plain

white dress that falls to my knees, no details around it that will caught a massive reaction

with the masses. Oh my god do I have my period today? I simply checked if I messed up with

the dress but it is perfectly fine. So what is it? “ehem” I look up only to fine hyekyo eonnie

standing in front of me. “eonnie, tell me do I look bad on this dress?” I really cant stand it. I

have to ask. “no, you are perfect. What makes you say that?” hyekyo eonnie defensively

replied. “when I got here I feel no scratch that I noticed everyone is looking at me.” “maybe

your just being so sensitive today shin. Loosen up! By the way, boss wants you at the rooftop”

hyekyo eonnie uttered pointing at the air up. “ow, why? Wait he is here?” I was surprise, I

told him not to be bothered going to work so early. “yup, since 7 am sharp.” Hana eonnie

interject. “that guy, I told him to rest, okay eonnie, I’ll go up, he must be preparing breakfast

again like last week, seriously what’s with him and the rooftop. I’ll go now, eonnie could you

check on the hotel reservation for Mr. Yokohama? Thanks” I hurriedly went to the lift.

“yes, you should be ready by 6pm tonight okay, and dude please don’t mess up this time.

PLEASE” yonghwa is talking to minhwan thru his phone, he heard the door opened. “she’s

here, remember 6pm and don’t messed up!” with that he ended the call and shove his phone in

his blazer pocket. “what is this again boss?” shinhye said when she reached him. He smiled

goofily, “good morning!” he said. “Didn’t I told you last night to rest. See even minhwan is not

here. You are such a workaholic” shinhye crossed her arms. “you look good on that dress. I

knew it, you really fit that dress.” Yonghwa looked at her amusedly. Shinhye rolled her eyes,

he is actually changing the topic on purpose. “I believe we are here for a breakfast, so where is

it” shinhye asked. “ah, that’s my girl always one step ahead. Here you go, coffee and

croissant.” Yonghwa handed her the take out box. “thanks, you know we can eat at the office,

why are you always wanting to eat here?” shinhye asked. “because, I love it here. This is our

spot you know” yonghwa said. Shinhye looked at him puzzled. “this is were you forgave me

the first time remember?” shinhye thought of it and it clicked on her head. “ahh, right, I

remember” she uttered. Yonghwa suddenly rested his head on her shoulder. “thank you for

forgiving me that day.” Shinhye scoff, “why are you acting weird today? Did something

happen?” shinhye asked worriedly, she knows when yonghwa is not in good shape, he tends

to be so needy. “nope, I am just happy that this is the day that we first met each other”

shinhye looked at him weirdly. “don’t ask because I do count them, the first time I saw you in

the music store in Japan. You know if only I could rewind it, I’ll introduce myself to you

properly” yonghwa said looking at her intently, shinhye blushed by her boyfriend’s sweetness.

“aish! Stop with the chessiness you’re making me blush!” she slightly pushed yonghwa.

“shinhye ah, can you come with me, my daughter wanted something from the music store”

hana asked her. shinhye just finished her bookings so she is free to go. “komawoyo shinhye

ah” “its nothing eonnie, its good to roam around after a stressful transaction” when they

reached the music store, shinhye was surprise, she didn’t remember that this store changed

it’s appearance. She just went with yonghwa in here just a week ago. “shin, I’ll look around

okay?” shinhye nod. she then spotted the vinyls. She smiled. She remembered the music store

in Japan. She was busy looking through the vinyls when someone pats her shoulder “eonnie..”

she paused when she saw yonghwa standing there, dressed differently from what he wore

earlier. He didn’t move or say anything as if he is waiting for something. Shinhye swore that

she saw that shirt before. Her eyes widen and she looked at yonghwa with surprise look. “hi”

he said. Shinhye was taken aback, why is he acting like this? “I happen to saw you from

outside, and I thought I have to know your name. I’m Jung yong hwa by the way” he offered

his hand then it hit her. he said he wanted to turn back time. She smiled. He made an effort

just for her. “hello I’m Park shin hye, nice to meet you rocker jung yonghwa” she giggled at

her adjective.

Throughout the whole afternoon yonghwa did turn back time, well most of it. the times they

shared when they are still friends  are most of them. “why did you came up with this?”

shinhye asked resting her head on his shoulder when they stop at a park to rest. “I wanted

you to remember how much I waited and care for you” he simply replied. shinhye was lost for

words. This guy went all this trouble just for her. she is truly touched. “it’s time” he uttered

making shinhye pulled back and looked at him confused. “what?” “there’s still one thing that

we need to do. Let’s go” yonghwa dragged her to his car and he drove off. Shinhye was too

puzzled to even notice that they are in her brother’s ice cream shop. “we are here. Let’s go”

yonghwa again pulled her and she just let him. Upon entering, she gasp in surprise. It is the

same look when they had their first anniversary. The lighting, the ambiance, the music

everything” “shall we?” she was awaken by jungshin’s voice, he lead her to the same spot she

sat back then.

She is still in processing all of this when the familiar song started to play, and as she expected

there he is, singing his heart out, with the same outfit he wore back then, shinhye now can’t

contain herself as she is now crying. Yonghwa stopped and kneeled infront of her “why?” he

asked so worriedly. She smiled and shook her head. “this is too much for me to handle, it is

just the anniversary of when we met and you did all of this, for I can’t remember it” she shyly

replied. “shh, stop stop, it’s okay that you don’t remember. And it is not just a day for me. It’s

the beginning of forever, speaking of which” yonghwa took a little velvet blue box from his

blazer. He exhale loudly and smiled looking at shinhye. “I know I promise this 2 years ago,

but I must admit, I’ve been a coward. I was hesistant to ask you again because I was afraid

you’d reject, so now, I’m doing it properly, compressing the good memories we’ve shared in

just one day for the next one is the start of us being together forever. Park Shin Hye, would

you like to be Mrs. Jung Yong Hwa?” shinhye’s tears are uncontrollable now, she nod

exagerately. “of course! YES! I will marry you, It’s an honor to be your other half Mr. Jung”

she replied. yonghwa stood up and pulled her for a tight hug and spun her around. He is

indeed the luckiest, happiest man in the world right now.
