She looked around the corridor quickly; making sure that no one was around. She walked slowly towards the front door, putting her son down from her embrace. The little boy looked up at his mother, confusion written all over his pretty little face. She knelt down and hugged her son tightly. ‘Maybe this would be the last time.’ she thought as she holds back her tears.

“Yoogeunnie, be a good boy okay? “she whispered softly as she let go of him and tried to look into his eyes but he was more interested on the ribbons on his mother’s blouse.“Remember what I said. Be a good boy to your appas. Love them like you love umma alright?” Yoogeun didn’t respond but continued attempting to tie the ribbons into a knot. “Arasso?” she asked again, trying to look into his eyes again. Yoogeun let out a small grumble and gave a small nod. Still pulling the ribbons, he finally looked up and put his palms on his mother’s face.

“I love umma.” He said cutely. Her eyes brimmed with tears; she quickly gave her son last kisses on both sides of his cheeks and rang the doorbell couple of times. She quickly walks away when she heard noises behind the door, not looking back, leaving her son standing alone looking at her walking away.

The little boy was confused; he didn’t really understand the situation. But he only understood one thing; he’s going to meet his appa.

“Aish, who in the world…. its not even 8…” the door opened and Yoogeun looked up, eyes locked with a shirtless mini bear with pink fluffy slippers.

“Appa!”
