Nikki is a freshman in college, with a boyfriend (Eunhyuk) and everything else she could ever want. At least, that's what she thought before a certain person named Sungmin stepped into her life...

Excerpt: I sigh, clamber out of the car, shut the door, and lean against it, waiting for Sungmin to come up with another genius plan. While he is staring off into the far distance- as if he’s in deep thought- I am attempting to regain the use of my tongue and think of what I’m going to say to Eunhyuk. However, I completely lose hold of my train of thought when Sungmin turns his head and looks at me with those magical eyes of his- as if he could see something in me that everyone else in the world has missed for some strange, unknown reason. I’m saying that his eyes are magical, because there is no other explanation for it. How can something not magical cause me to be unable to look away, make my heart pound, and give me a weird fluttery feeling in my stomach? See, of course they’re magical. It’s the only logical answer. Maybe he’s a part-time magician too, on top of his TA job and grad school studies. That would be nice. I like magicians.

While all these thoughts are flying through my head, Sungmin and I are staring at each other. It really is like a scene from a drama or something- you know, when suddenly time freezes or whatever and the two leads just look at each other.

But then I blink, and the moment is ruined. Sungmin starts, and we both clear our throats awkwardly.
