Hello and congratulations on not only becoming a member of one of SM’s elite idol groups, but being the youngest and thus most loved member of the group.

I’m sure by now you have a lot of questions that need to be answered, and they will be in due time. We would like to first take care of the basics behind what is a maknae, your responsibilities as well as the pros and cons.

This handbook is a step by step guide and instruction manual on how to act, what to say, and a general outline of what your career will be like as a result.
