Those Words Escaped Out Of So Casually, So Easily.

Tiffany Hwang Tells Me That She Loves Me All The Time.

It's Been A Week Or So Since I've Asked Her Out.

Right Now, I'm Lying Down On The Meadows In A Small Village Town.

Facing My Girl, Who Told Me That She Loved Me.

Yet I Feel Empty And Hallow, As If The World Had Swallowed My Soul.

What Was Wrong With Me?

"Mmm." I Muttered, Looking Up At The Sky.

She Was Obviously Hurt From My Uninterested Reply, But She Didn't Say Anything.

"I Can't Believe That We're Going To Be Graduating In A Month From Now," She Said, Easing The Tense Mood.

I Laughed, Relieved That The Whole 'I- Love- You" Subject Was Forgotten.

"It Does Seem Like A Miracle, Doesn't It?" I Asked, Smiling At Her Beautiful Face, Shimmering From The Sunlight.

She Smiled, And Reached Out To Touch My Face.

I Flinched, And She Quickly Pulled Back.

"Sorry." She Mumbled, But I Ignored Her Apology.

It Wasn't Her Fault, I Knew.

I Just Didn't Feel Comfortable With Her.

The Way That She Gazes In To My Eyes With Longing-

The Way She Says I Love You All The Time-

The Way She Smiles-

It Just Doesn't Feel Right.

I Know That She's My Girlfriend. She Has Every Right To Do All These Kind Of Things.

I Know That I've Probably Hurt Her A Lot Because I Didn't Return My Love For Her.

I Know That I Should Pay Attention To Her More, And That I Should Love Her More Than Anybody Else Besides My Family.

But It's Not Real.

The Relationship We're Having?

It's All Fake.

Tiffany Hwang Is Playing 'The Game Of Love' By Herself.

I Think This Is The Reason Why I'm Feeling So Guilty Each Time She Tells Me That She Loves Me-

Because I Know That I Won't Ever Love Her Back- Never- Not In That Way.

I Like Her A Lot, And I Want To Keep Going Out With Her, But Lately, It Feels Like She's Taking This Relationship Way Too Seriously.

I Shook My Head, Trying To Clear The Problems I'm Having.

I Could Feel Fany's Concerned Look Bore At The Back Of My Head, But I Didn't Really Feel Like Talking To Anyone Anymore.

"I'm Sorry- I Feel Sick. I Really Don't Want To Shorten Our Date, But-"

"It's Alright. Go Home And Rest," Tiffany Said Coldly, Her Voice Dry.

She Was Obviously Offended.

I Know That It Was Wrong Of Me, But I Just Nodded And Walked My Way Back To Home.

I Turned Around A Couple Of Times, Just To Wave Good Bye, But Tiffany Wouldn't Meet My Eyes.

I Cursed, To Nobody In Particular.

I'm Always The Bad Guy, Aren't I?

I Knew That There Was A Guest Coming Over To Our House For Dinner.

I Smelled Steak.

Maybe It's Not Steak. But It's Expensive Meat, I Can Tell.

You'd Probably Think: You're Rich Right? So Don't You Usually Eat Expensive Meat, Like, Every Day?

Um...

No.

My Mom, Apparently Can't Cook, And She Doesn't Like Using Money On Stuff That Isn't Necessary, No Matter How Rich Our Family Is.

So We Have, Like, Hot Cheetos And Lays For Breakfast, Lunch, And Dinner.

If I Feel Like Eating Something Else, I Just Go To A Fancy Restaurant With Dad's Credit Card.

I Think It's Stupid, Because Mom Wastes Her Money On Donating Supplies For People In North Korea.

But Again, I'm Not Judging Anybody, Because I'm Not A Perfect Person, Either.

"Who's Coming Over?" I Asked Mom, Who Was Busy Yelling At The Cook To Hurry Up.

"I Don't Know," She Answered, A Bit Distracted.

"Who's Coming Over?" I Asked Again.

"Suzy's Friend," Mom Snapped, And Started Yelling At The Cook Again.

"Kim Soo Hyun?" I Asked, Wrinkling My Nose.

"MmmHmm. Now Run Along."

I Gave An Exasperated Sigh Before I Stomped Upstairs, To Suzy's Room.

I Wanted To Make Things Up With Suzy.

It's Been Awkward, Not Talking To Her.

I Don't Remember What Destroyed Our Relationship, But It's Probably Not Worth Fighting About It.

It's Probably My Fault, For All I Know.

I Opened The Door, And Found Suzy Trying On...

Different Shades Of Lip Gloss and Lip Tint.

I Don't Know Why, But Seeing Her Trying On Those Lip Wear Grossed Me Out.

The Fact That She Was Trying To Look Pretty For Kim Soo Hyun Just Disgusted Me.

But I Wasn't Here To Criticize Her, I Was Here To Apologize.

So I Ignored The Chills Spreading Throughout My Body, And Bravely Said," I Want To Talk To You."

She Gave A Small Shriek As She Noticed Me, And Dropped The Lipstick.

"If That's Okay With You," I Said Quickly, For Her Shriek Surprised Me.

She Smeared The Bright Pink Off Her Lips, And Looked At Me.

I Tried Really Hard To Look Back At Her, But I Couldn't.

Looking At Her Was Like Looking At Brilliant Light- Staring At It Could Make You Blind.

I Didn't Know How She Made Me Feel Like This, But She Always Had.

I Ended Up Gazing At The Floor Instead, Wondering Why I Didn't Feel Like This Around Tiffany.

I Also Wonder If She Makes Everyone Feel Like This.

"What Did You Want To Say?" She Asked, Her Voice Stiff.

I Opened My Mouth, Ready To Apologize About My Stupidity, Whatever I Did-

Ready To Tell Her That I Missed Our Relationship-

Ready To Tell Her I Wanted To Be Friends With Her Again-

But The Doorbell Rang, And I Lost My Chance.

I Looked At Suzy, And I Knew That The Mood And The Atmosphere Changed, So I Just Went Downstairs To Open The Door.

I Saw Tiffany Hwang When I Opened The Door.

She Was Smiling Her Her Eyes, As Usual, And Greeted Me With A Hug.

Surprised By Her Action And Appearance, I Stood, Frozen.

"You Forgot Your Phone," She Told Me, Holding Up The Samsung Galaxy Electronic.

"Thanks," I Muttered, And Gestured Her To Come In. "Would You Like To Stay For Dinner?"

She Looked At Me Anxiously, And Asked, "Is It Alright?"

I Smiled Wryly. "I'm Sure That We Could Cook Another Steak."

She Smiled Happily, And Clapped Her Hands. "I Love Meat."

I Made A Mental Note In My Head:

Tiffany Hwang Is A Carnivorous Babe. Order Meat Every Time You Take Her To A Restaurant.

"Mom Is It Okay If Tiffany Joins Us For Dinner?"

"Who Is She?" Mom Asked, Her Eyes Shining Mischeivously.

"Girlfriend," I Mumbled.

"What Was That?" Mom Asked, Stifling Her Laughter.

"Alright," I Said, Irritated. "My Girlfriend, Okay?"

She Smiled Her Motherly Smiled, And Said,"Of Course, Taecyeon, Dear. I'm Very Excited To Meet Her. I'm Sure She Is A Lovely Young Lady."

"This Girl Is Totally Fine," I Promised, Grinning.

I Was Glad Tiffany Came Over For Dinner.

It Would've Been Way Too Awkward For Me To Handle If She Wasn't Here.

She Made Me Feel Comfortable Seeing Kim Soo Hyun And Suzy Together.

It Was Actually Mom Who Made Me Feel Embarrassed. Mom Actually Never Saw Any Of My Girlfriends Before, So She Was Rattling On And On.

"Tiffany, Dear? How Is My Taecyeon Treating You?" Mom Asked, Smiling At My Girlfriend.

Tiffany Glanced At Me Before Answering,"He Is The Best Boyfriend I've Had So Far."

"Awww..." Mom Cooed, Sickening Me To Death.

"Are You Guys Dating?" Mom Asked Suzy And Kim Soo Hyun.

"No." Suzy Answered Flatly, And I Couldn't Help But Feeling Relieved.

"But You Never Know," Kim Soo Hyun Added.

I Shoveled More Meat In My Mouth.

Mom Turned Back To Me. "When Did You Ask Tiffany Out, Taecyeon?"

I Felt My Face Turn Pale.

When Did I Ask Fany Out?

My Mind Was Blank, It's Also Especially Not Easy To Remember When People Are Looking At You Expectantly, Waiting For An Answer.

Tiffany's Eyes Were Watery, She Was In The Verge Of Crying.

I Guess She Didn't Want To Cry In Front Of All These People, Because She Dropped Her Utensils And Stomped Outside Of Our House.

"I'm Sorry, But I'm Going To Have To Be Excused," I Told Mom, And Followed After Her.

I Have Been Faithfully Updating This Week, Hooray For Me.
