Every night before going to sleep Donghae´s grandmother told him stories, old legends.

His parents had died in a car crash when he was two years-old, leaving him with his only living grandparent. He had cried every night in his bed, missing his parents.

One night had his grandmother come to his room and sat next to the silently crying boy. In her gentle and quiet voice she had started telling him stories, legends that she had heard from her mom in her youth. Immersed in her stories the little boy had stopped crying, siting up in his bed and listened eyes big at the wonders of the world and adventures of brave men.

After that night his grandmother came to his grandsons room every night and told him stories, stories of forbidden love, brave men, pure hearted thief´s, women disguise themself as men, monsters, fairies and of course of beautiful princesses and their brave princes.

But there was one story that he loved, one that he always asked to be told. Legend of the mermaids. And in his dreams he would swim to their secret kingdom and play with them in the water. During the day he would run to the shore and try to see if he could catch even a small glimps of the beauties of the sea.

As Donghae grew up he still loved her stories, but now he knew they weren´t real. Mermaids weren´t real, they didn´t excit.

But what if they were real and what if there was more to the story than she had told…

This has been in my mind so I decided post this to get it out of my mind, but I have other stories and I have been really busy this month and will still be, so I don´t know when I have time to update this one.

But I will post the first chapter within a week.
