"Dude just ask her out!"

"Yeah we dare you!"

"Guys! No!" Eric exclaimed

"You've been crushing on her ALL year", His bestfriend said, "if you ask her out, we'll stop bothering you"

"Yeah! We'll both stop!" His other friend said

"Fine. I'll ask her" Eric said and noded.

"Good luck" His friend said and shoved Eric.

Eric began to walk slowely towards Juliette. She was sitting alone in the bench.

"Mind if I take a seat?" Eric asked her

"No. Sit down" Juliette said and scotted to the right a little

Juliette continued to read her book and Eric sat silently.

'What should I say?!?', Eric thought and sighed, 'It's time'.

"Juliette?" Eric said

"Hmm?" Juliette said still focusing on her book.

"Well I've been liking you all year so.. do you want to go out?" Eric asked and looked at Juliette nervously. Juliette looked up from her book and looked at Eric.

"You like me?" Juliette asked and Eric nodded.

"I like you too but I can't go out with you"

"Why not?"

"Because I'm afraid that if I have a boyfriend, it will distract me from school" Juliette explained.

"Oh" Eric said and looked down.

"Plus, I like someone else"

"Who?"

"I can't tell you, I think you might tell someone"

"I promise I wont tell"

"Fine" Juliette said and tookn out her binder.

"This guy" Juliette said and pointed at the picture of Taemin.

"Who is he?" Is he Japanese?" Eric asked

"No. He's Korean. He's super famous in South Korea" Juliette explained 

"Wow. What's his name?"

"Taemin. He's so sweet. He can sing, dance, and he's good with children. He's everything I look in a guy"

Eric stayed quiet.

"Anyways, thank you for telling me that you like me. Try to ask me out again later in a few years" Julieete told Eric

"I'll try to. Bye"

"Bye" Juliette said and waved goodbye.

Eric walked back over to his friends and said "Well,I just got rejected because of a Korean guy".

His bestfriend put his arm around Eric and laughed. Eric and his friends began to walk. Eric shook his head while smiling.

'I'll try again. Later on' Eric thought and looked back at Juliette sitting next to Taemin on the bench together.
