CHAPTER 21

Jonghyun let out a sigh as he opened the door to their  dorm, he walked towards the living room and was welcomed by Minhyuk who was watching TV at the living room,

"Omo! Hyung, you're back…" Minhyuk greeted,

"Hyung, you're just in time, I just finished cooking dinner!" Jungshin voiced, he just came out from the kitchen and was currently taking his apron off,

"De, I'll be taking a shower first…" Jonghyun uttered, he smiled weakly at them,

The maknae's watched him enter his room and they both stared at each other for questions,

"Is Jonghyun-hyung okay?" Jungshin asked worriedly,

"Maybe he's just tired… he'll be fine once he finished his shower" Minhyuk assured "Let's go set the table" he added as he leads Jungshin towards the dining room,

Jonghyun's P.O.V

I thought a nice hot shower would work… it didn't, I was already dressed in my house clothes and my heart still feels heavy,

I tried to call Eunah after the photo shoot but I just ended up with 5 missed calls, I really felt sorry I had to end our date early yesterday, I hope I didn't disappoint her,

I really wanted to give her a romantic date, a fun one, unfortunately my schedule doesn’t allow it, I'm always busy but not a day goes by that I don't think of her, I hope she knows that,

I grabbed my phone from the table and dialed her number, I frowned, the busy tone came up,

"Did she shut down her phone?" I uttered as I let my body drop on the bed,

I stared at the screen of my phone, I smiled, I made her picture my screen saver, that way I could see her face every day,

"Jonghyun, It's time to eat!" a knock on the door disrupted my thoughts, it was Yonghwa's voice, maybe he's finished judging the auditions for FNC,

I sighed as I placed my phone back at the table, maybe I'll try calling her again after dinner, I opened the door, Yonghwa was still there, he gave me a strange look which made me puzzled,

"What is it?" I asked,

"Nothing…" he flashed a faint smile as he taps me on the shoulder as if to reassure me of something,

I followed him to the dining room still confused at his sudden actions,

THE NEXT DAY

"Kyaaaahhhhh!!!" Raemi and Hyoneul screamed in unison as they jumped up and down, you covered your ears in annoyance,

You just told them about the FNC audition yesterday and they won't stop spazzing about it,

"Yahh! Keep it down you guys! My ears can't take it anymore!" you scolded, they stopped jumping and closed their mouths but their faces still showed their excitement,

"Did you pass?!" Raemi asked eagerly as she held your hand tightly,

"Well… they called me this morning" you answered as you bit your lower lip to suppress your excitement,

"And?..." Hyoneul added,

"They wanted me to comeback so w could talk about the contract" you finished,

"KYAAAAHHH!!!" they let out a scream again but this time you just chuckled, they looked so happy,

"Eunah! you're so lucky!" Raemi jumped and hugged you,

"You'll be living your dream now! And you'll get to be with Jonghyun too!" Hyoneul added as he joined the two of you for a group hug,

Your smile faded slowly after hearing Jonghyun's name, you shut your phone off last night on purpose, you didn't want to answer his calls because you don't know how to tell him about the audition,

"Eunah, Gwnchana?" Raemi asked, she notice your change of mood,

"I still haven't told him about the audition…" you uttered as you sat on the couch, they pouted and sat beside you,

"It's okay, you'll find a way soon, I'm sure he'll be happy to know that you passed!" Hyoneul assured with a smile and Raemi nodded in agreement,

Jonghyun tapped his fingers on the table as he stared at Eunah's picture on his phone,

"Why didn't she told me about the audition?"

/FLASHBACK/

After dinner, Yonghwa called the members to the living room, he placed his laptop on the table and made them sit on the couch with him,

"What's the video about, Hyung?" Jungshin asked when he saw Yonghwa press the play button on the video,

"It's a replay of those who tried to audition, I think you'd like to watch it." Yonghwa explained, his eyes focused on the screen,

"Omo! that girl with the number fifteen has a great voice, she dances well too…" Minhyuk voiced,

"You're right… she looks familiar too…" Jungshin added,

"Yahh, She looks like Eunah-nonna!" Minhyuk chuckled,

Jonghyun's ears perked up after hearing Eunah's name, his eyes focused on the video,

"Wait a minute…" Minhyuk uttered as he sat straight, his forehead creased, "It really looks like-"

"It is Eunah." Yonghwa cut in, Minhyuk and Jungshin face stared at their leader in awe except Jonghyun whose eyes were glued at the screen,

"She didn't tell you, didn't she?" Yonghwa asked, Jonghyun shook his head in reply,

"No… she didn't…" he uttered,

/END OF FLASHBACK/

Jonghyun went out of his room, grabbing his car keys with him, his band members who were at the living room gave him a strange look,

"Where are you going?" Yonghwa asked, his eyebrows raised,

"I need to talk to someone…"  he replied as he marched towards the door,

"Yahh! Hyung! Don't be late for our practice!-- Aigoo! he already left… did you think he heard me?" Minhyuk asked in concern,

"Don't worry, he already knows about our schedule." Yonghwa answered, his eyes focused on the television,

"What happened?" Jungshin asked, he was carrying a glass of milk from the kitchen,

"Jonghyun-hyung left-- Yahh! Aren't you drinking too much milk?" Minhyuk commented as he shook his head in disbelief, this is why the maknae's taller than all of them,

RING!! RING!!

Your phone rang, you felt a lump on your throat when you saw Jonghyun's name registered on the screen, you leaned on the tree's trunk to support yourself, Otteoke? you haven't thought of what you were gonna tell him yet,

you wanted to reject the call but your eyes widened in shock when you accidentally pressed the answer button, Kyah! otteoke? otteoke?!, you panicked as you placed the phone near your ears,

"O-oppa…." you answered nervously,

"Where are you?" Jonghyun's serious voice made you feel tense,

"I-im at the park…" you stuttered in reply,

"Stay there, I'm on my way."

The call ended leaving you stunned, you sat straight on the grass, Eotteoke?! Is he angry?, you scanned the place for any signs of him, Will your first fight with him happen today? you hugged you knees tightly, you couldn't bare even the thought of it, you bowed down, you didn't want to see him approach you,

"Eunah…"

The voice that called your name made your eyes widen, you tilted your head up, he was there, standing in front of you, how you wanted to jump and hug him right now, but you couldn't, because he wasn't smiling,

"O-oppa.." you uttered as you stood up to face him, he stared at you, his firm expression made you feel uneasy, Is he really angry?, suddenly you felt your tears trickle down your cheeks,

"Are you crazy?" Jonghyun hugged you tightly making you cry on his shoulders as you hug him back,

"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked, his voice was comforting,

"Because…. I didn't know how, I was afraid… y-you wouldn't like the idea…" you answered in between sobs,

Jonghyun chuckled, he took a step back so he could see your face, he smiled as he took your glasses and wiped your tears,

"Why wouldn't I like the idea of seeing my girlfriend every day?" he voiced making you blush in crimson red, you stared at him in awe,

"S-so it's okay?" you asked, he chuckled,

"Of course" he answered as he pinched you on the cheeks,

Your eyes met and your lips curled up into a smile, you felt your heart flutter when he leaned closer, your eyes closed as he kissed you on the forehead,

Your eyes opened when you felt him hold your hands,

"Let's go…" he uttered leading you towards his car,

"Where?" you asked puzzled,

"I owe you a date.."

Saemi stared resentfully at the couple from afar, she wanted to surprise her Jonghyun-oppa at their dorm but she saw him leave the building so she decided to follow him instead, she didn't know he would meet Eunah at the park,

Her Jaw clenched as she saw Jonghyun kissed that Eunah girl on the forehead, her heart felt heavy,

"I should be the one in her place! I should be the one with Jonghyun-oppa right now!" Saemi thought grudgingly,

She bit her lower lip as her eyes followed Jonghyun who was leading Eunah to his car, she watched as the black car moved farther away until it disappeared from her sight,

Saemi felt something warm trickle down her chin, she wiped it with her hand, her eyes widened at the red liquid that was now on her hands, she had bit her lip too much, she wiped the blood on her hands and mouth with her handkerchief,

A smile curled up on her lips as an idea popped in her mind, she turned her back and walked towards her car, she needs to put her plan into place immediately if she wanted Jonghyun to be hers,

"You shouldn't have tried reaching him in the first place, Eunah-shii…."
