[Doojoon’s POV]

I couldn’t believe it. My body moved faster and lighter than ever before. I had never experienced a transformation like this. But why now? I continued to fight off ghoul after ghouls, my claws ripping apart their ghostly forms. I had been fueled on pure adrenaline. I felt as I was completely different person. With each defeated monster, my beastly side grew stronger. I couldn’t hold it back anymore. I dropped to all fours and proceeded to howl.

I turned my head around, a wild grin plastered on my face. But my joy quickly faded as I saw Yoseob. He’s changing faster than  I am. I walked over to him noticing he had already taken a complete wolf form his golden brown fur covering his entire body. “Seobie!”

“Doojoon, Hyung” He stood up onto four legs no longer able to balance on two. “ I guess I relaxed too much.”

I couldn’t help but smile. I looked into his adorable eyes and only one thought came to mind. Seobie’s not a monster. He’s a puppy! I chuckled to myself as I turned away from him?

“ What! What is it?”

“ It’s nothing. Honest”

I felt his eyes narrow as they focused on me. Even as a wolf I could tell when he was pouting. Unable to contain myself any longer, I busted out laughing and with that laughter I felt my body begin to change. I dropped to all fours, ripping my clothes, as my tail had began to wag back and forth. My ears began to sharpen and deform as fur covered the remainder of my body.

I finally stopped laughing as the transformation finished.I felt strange. It was the first time I had taken a complete wolven form. I felt more animal than human but my mind still functioned as if nothing had happened. I couldn’t place my finger on it. Just what pushed me into this. Yoseob!

“ DOOJOON!”

My thoughts were  interrupted as the slightly smaller wolf pushed me to the ground. A ghoul had come just inches from taking my life. I never felt my heart race so fast. Was it fear? Adrenaline? Seobie?

Before I could answer, Yoseob jumped off of me and pounced the ghoul that attacked me. I was instantly brought back to the battle. Now was not the time to think about Yoseob. I decided to join him in the attack. Utilizing my fangs and claws, I easily took out ghoul after ghoul, however the monstrous assault would not let up.

Yoseob fought alongside me but I could tell he was growing tired. Seobie was never one to get into fights in the first place. I knew he didn’t like it much. I continued to struggle as my energy slowly depleted itself.

Yelp! I turned my head around to see Yoseob slide back into a tree. “SEOBIE!” I ran over to his side and the ghouls proceed to attack. I shielded each of their attacks, making sure Yoseob was not harmed. My endurance began to wear thin as Yoseob called out to me.

“Doojoon.”

It didn’t seem to matter what he said. I felt myself slipping between consciousness. It’d take a miracle to survive. I closed my eyes, expecting the worse. At least I can protect Yoseob to with my life.

A howl penetrated my ear as the ghoul inches from my face went down. One by one the ghouls were taken out before my eyes. “What? Who are you?”

There he was, standing before me. A third wolf.
