Pr o l o g u e

You sat on the chair provided inside the room. The room wasn’t something to be amazed at. It was decorated, yes; but the interior isn’t as appealing as they appear on the wide screen of your television back at home.

You fidgeted on your seat, albeit unaware why you were unease. You glanced at your reflection in the mirror provided on the left corner of the wall. You scrutinize yourself. Not really pretty, but not entirely unappealing as well. Your hair was curled with a touch of slight wave on its tips. The black dress that you wear is perfectly fit that it enhances the shape of your body and has a length that was enough to cover your bum. Your legs seem to shimmer as the light touches the bare skin of your lower part that was accentuated by the silver stilettos. Your make-up was light that it was almost invisible in the light. Altogether, you think you were presentable enough, if others will consider you as pretty, that’s another story.

You picked a small circular object from your purse. It was the lipbalm your friend, Chaegyung, had given you prior to the acceptance letter. You put some on your lips, an enough amount to keep them moist.

You almost jumped on your place when a voice once speaks again. You had been receiving mild shock whenever the speaker will procure some sounds. You glanced at the black quadratic speaker placed at the upper right corner of the room.

“Our last, gentleman has arrived” the voice proclaims. You do not know who the participants are; none of you were supplied with sufficient knowledge about the chosen casts. You do not know either who was announcing all this arrivals.

You known that only two doors were left unopened, and you felt sorry for the last guy who had the least option to choose, that including yourself and the other person you do not know. It is said that the person whose door would not be opened will be proclaim eliminated. You think it was harsh, given the circumstances that you have just joined and will have to leave before the show could even begin.

It wasn’t really of affection and feelings—this show. It was more of luck. You’re lucky if your door was chosen, if not, then too bad.

Your thoughts were disrupted when the faint comings of soft footsteps permeated through the walls of the small room you’re staying at the moment. You quiver on you spot, not knowing what to do. You did not budge, not because you don’t want to, but because abruptly and absurdly, you couldn’t.

As the footsteps grew louder so does the beatings of your heart. You inhaled deep breaths to calm yourself. And as the footsteps came into a halt, you believe that so does your breathing. It felt alright being eliminated; you believe it was illogical how you end up being part of the show. But likewise, you felt hopeful and anxious. 

You heard a knob clicked. You wonder if it’s yours or the door beside you. You waited, and though it seems like it will happen any moment now, you felt like time is very long, excruciatingly long. 

[A/N] This story is mainly about a show about idols being in a relationship with non-celebrity women. That means, there are more characters to expect as the stoy progress (preferrably upto eight members--which means, eight men and eight women). The mechanics of the show will be supply to you by the next chapter. Chapter one will be more on explenatory chapter about the game, and of course, how the whole story will begin. I think this one isn't as difficult to write for the main cast (Donghae) is still at he is in real life -- a celebrity; an idol. This story will be narrate within two point of views -- your's and Donghae's. I will try to have their P.O.V alter from each chapter, meaning your's and Hae's P.O.V will be updated alternately. More of your background and Donghae's in the proceeding chapters. The length of each chapter may vary depending on my mood and I guess it won't be as descriptive as I plan it to be.
