Poem 46: Not Impossible
I saw your face for the first time,
my mind went blank, my lips went dry.
I was dumbfounded, I couldn't lie.
The verdict is in: you make me smile.
Unexpectancy at its highest core.
I was stagnate but you freed my emotions.
I thought I knew enough but I was wrong,
your perfection is beyond my imagination.
People always see your imperfections.
The way you stutter, the way you trip and many more.
They say I better watch out, I better take caution.
But they don't even see that it's your imperfections that I fell hard for.
They say that the chances that I can be with you is just an impossibility,
but don't they know? That one day, I'll be able to defy gravity.
