"Heeeey, let's go out for ice cream today!" Ren was happily jumping up and down next to Minhyun. "Choi Minki, you are one weird kid" he chuckled looking at the overly happy ffigure next to him.

"I want ice creaaam!" the young one pouted suddenly stopping his enjoyment. "Sure, why not" was the answer he got as he resumed to his celebration of happiness.



"Ahhhh" I love chocolate ice cream so much!" the hyper blonde was smiling and his own icy treat.

The two were on the beach, watching the sunset. What a beautiful sight, so calm, nobody to disturb this moment of peace.

But this joyfull side of Ren wasn't always like this.



The first day of high school, the first second Minhyun stepped into the classroom. There was a small kid who resembled a girl, who was made fun of by others. He didn't show them any expression, just a straight face, he looked at them with no emotions, but they mistook it, they though he was looking down on the.

People kept their distance from him, but Minhyun was fascinated by him, he was drawn to this unusually interesting boy. He wanted to know more of him, see other sides of this beatiful face.

So one rainy day, he, with all the courage he had, stepped towards the blonde "Hey" he smiled softly at him. The other looked at him suspiciously, not a slight emotion on his face.

"Hey.." he got an answer after a while of silence.

Minhyun continued to cling to the boy, conversations with every possibility he had until the younger started responding him. Ren started opening to him.

They became friends, maybe more than friends, 'best friends' yeah that was it.

Rens expressions started changing more often at school, others were wondering why he didn't smile before, his smile could melt away anything.



"I love you so much!" Ren said happily sitting on the bench next to Minhyun who was staring at the sun setting down, disappearing behind the deep blue sea.

Ren said it often, he meant it as a friend, but who knew what was going on inside the older's mind.

"I love you too Minnie" the older answered not looking at him, too concentrated on the sight infront of him. He wasn't really thinking about Ren that way, at first he did, but it changed.

He realised he was looking at Ren with eyes of more, a lot more. He wanted to see Ren's other expression, other sides, even though he got that, he wnated more, no, he needed more.

But how could he say that to this innocent boy, he might ruin everything he has with him right now, he was afraid of it.

"I really love you...more than what you see me as" he whispered almost unheard, but Ren did hear. Well, since he heard Minhyun though to go all the way, he placed a small quick yet soft kiss ontop of Ren's lips.

You might think it's the perfect scenario, sunset in the background, the sound of the waves hitting and slaying each other, no one around to stare, and a loving kiss.

But well, it wasn't, Ren started to panic deep inside, he didn't know what to do, since Minhyun was his best friend. he didn't know his own feelings, he started doubting his own feelings.

"Um.. sorry, you can forget it if you want" Minhyun noticed a slight disconfort in Ren's face. "N-No.. c-can I give you an answe tomrrow?" Ren wanted to sort out his heart, he felt as if his heart was about to break free from his rib cage.



Ren was laying on his bed, thinking about what happened just before.

His cheeks got slightly pink when he though about the kiss, it was his first. And for it to be this way... it made him...happy? it sure made his heart flutter in excitment.

But, was it more than friendship?

His mind was running around the whole night. He came to understand that he needed Minhyun in his life, he saw Minhyun as an important character in it.

The next day came fast. The lack of sleep made Ren's eyes look slightly red. But it didn't stop him from going over to Minhyun and blush insanely when he did.

"I-I...I like you too Minhyun.." he averted his eyes, he was too embarrassed to look at the other boy.

But Minhyun wanted to see his face, he was so happy his confession was answered with acception, his hand slid to Ren's chin, making him look at him, "I'm glad" he smiled before putting a small peck on the others lips.

Happiness, the feeling of being loved was amazing. Ren's first boyfriend.

It was even better than when they were only friends. He was still so unused to the small kisses, to the affection, to the loving hugs, and even holding hands which all made him flustred.

"I love you~" Ren giggled standing infront of the older male.

"Love you too" the other answered and placed a meaningful kiss on the other's lips, it was Ren's first time to feel Minhyuns tongue over his lip, he wondered what he should do, he parted his lips slightly and the other attacked his mouth.

He was shocked at first, he had no idea what was going on, but the feeling it made him go through was nice so he let Minhyun take him away from reality.

He was so happy, he couldn't describe it using words.
