I met her on a solitary strip of beach, two miles behind the city.
She was not one of those people who would turn heads as she strolled casually down the main street of a big city. She was not one of those people who would cause cheers as she strutted down the catwalk of a large stage. She was one of those people who would appear in one’s life quietly and disappear just as silently. Yet, she left an unforgettable mark in one’s history, in one’s life, like a faded tea stain on an old piece of parchment.
She was one of those people whose soft, gentle glow wasn’t appreciated until it was gone.
Almost like the sun.
