You feel a bit flustered for yelling and being mean to Daehyun after he finishes explaining. Maybe, just maybe, he really is your brother. As you finally make up your mind about him, you carefully tap his shoulder; Daehyun looks up immediately, a pitiful look in his eyes.

‘Well, Daehyun,’ you begin as he stares at you with utmost attention. ‘Daehyun, my brother...’ you trail off, awkwardly looking away. As you look around the forest in embarrassment, Daehyun suddenly stands up and hugs you tightly. ‘I never thought you’d believe me,’ he says, his voice shaky.

You’ve been avoiding Daehyun for almost all the time you’ve been in the forest, so a hug like this just makes you feel weird. You take in a deep breath and push him away, goose bumps crawling up your skin. Daehyun hits the ground with a heavy thud, followed by a grunt of pain.

‘Sorry!’ you gasp, helping Daehyun up. He just shakes his head, dusting dirt off the back of his pants. ‘It’s nothing,’ he sighs. ‘Let’s go look for that phoenix. We need to get back home; or at least somewhere with civilisation.’

So, the two of you set out in the forest together to find the phoenix.

Who knows if you’ve found it yet?

Maybe your souls are still wandering around the forest.

But the only thing you know for sure is that Daehyun is your own loving brother.
