Eunhyuk looked without really seeing; the young man standing just a few inches away from the very edge of a jagged cliff. He didn’t need to see to know that there was a couple of hundred feet separating him from the ground below. That fact was supposed to make him scared but he stayed where he was, staring at the vast horizon before him. He wondered how it would be like if he had more of a daredevil in him; enough to make him jump off instead of simply wanting to.

“I know jumping off is your fastest ticket to heaven or hell but if you’re trying to kill yourself, make sure you’re alone.”

The female voice snapped Eunhyuk out of his thoughts as he spun around, taking a few steps backwards in shock. His wide, startled eyes met a pair of amused looking ones. She was a couple of years younger than him for sure yet she was tall, easily matching his height. Her long, slender frame stood a couple of meters away from him as the sun shone on her sun-kissed skin. His eyebrows furrowed. Where the hell did she come from?

The unknown female arched an eyebrow at him. “Aren’t you going to move away from the edge?”

He looked back; his face losing its color as soon as he realized just how close he really was before scrambling away from the edge of the cliff. “W-Who are you?”

“Name’s Choi Sooyoung.” The brunette laughed as he attempted to fix himself. “And yours?”
