“Donghae-yah! Palli!!” A guy with blonde, spiky hair riding a bicycle yelled for the tenth time.

He made one quick glance at the mirror before rushing outside the dorm. Hopping on his bike, he yelled, “Coming!!”

“Aish! We’re gonna be late again!” His friend answered back loudly, furiously scratching the back of his head as he waited outside the gate.

As soon as Donghae made it close to Eunhyuk, the two pedalled as fast as they could to reach the school.

“Hyukkie-ah!” he called, excitement reflected in his face. “You know what today is right?” he turned his head to his left and Eunhyuk saw the wide grin on his face.

A joyous laughter reached his ears, a puzzled expression on his face, but then it turned to a flustered look when he heard Eunhyuk jeer at him moments later, “So that’s why you took an extra ten minutes.”

He opened and closed his mouth, looking flabbergasted, thinking of how to throw back a reply.

“Excited to see your locker filled with chocolates, huh? As if you are not getting used to it.” They were already in the last year of Senior High School. Equally popular among the female population of their school, and other schools as well, it was expected that they’ll hear a lot of confessions today, aside from those written in love letters.

“It’s different this year,” he mumbled, almost a whisper, to himself.
