Because We Lost Track of Time

Description

Time goes by no matter how we oppose it. Every single second of everyday, time is lost, drifting away from our grasp. It’s like us as humans are trying to outrun it. We do so much in so little time, like the world is going to end any second. Everyone wants to get the best out of life for them and sometimes, just sometimes we forget about what’s really important to us. We forget that our actions affects others, we forget that everyone has feelings and wants as well. Sometimes we don’t even realize how much time was wasted until it’s nearly all gone.

Playing with time can cause the time and space continuum to collapse upon it, jeopardizing every single living organism on this planet, obliterating every person and thing that we hold dear. But when one gets a chance to undo all the erroneous deeds that we have committed in the duration of their lifespan, there would be no way that anyone sane would pass that offer.

Especially if it meant that the one you held or still hold dear to your heart would be able to escape the dark, merciless, cruel force called DEATH.

Foreword

Kim Sunggyu grew up like he was kept in the dark for most of his walking days. There were many things he did not know, and grew up oblivious to it. In fact, he lived an adequate life without knowing because what he didn’t know couldn’t trouble him.

But being deprived of this knowledge, his happiness would never be sincere.

Kim Sunggyu is what you would call a model child; anyone would want him as their own. He grew up like a robot; his future was already drawn up before he even existed on this planet we call Earth. He was trained by elite trainers to his athletic peak. The world most expensive tutors in Korea was hired so he would top all of Korea in his academics. Korea’s most iconic fashion designers worked for him. He was a walking figure of perfection but there was something missing and everyone knew it. In the midst of cramming all this enlightenment he had forgotten to see the outside world. He forgot to enjoy life.

On this road he called life, he fell in love. But his lack of knowledge of this led to his lovers’ downfall. He had been too immersed in his own activities to realise that his love was dying, and when he finally did, the person already passed away.

Sunggyu had learnt a lesson, and for the first time he realised how much time he had wasted.

For the next thirty or so years, the prodigy dedicated his life to his research, hoping that he would one day be able to reverse everything that had happened. By the time the man turned 38 he had created a device that let him travel through the strands of time and space.

But was it that simple?

A/N: By reading the description and foreword, you should realise this story is anything but glitter and rainbows. Angst is the writing genre that I am most comfortable with, but I'm sorry if it's not up to your standards.

Warning: This story is though there won't be much interaction. If you don't like it, I suggest you leave.

I don't even know what to say. Why do people keep killing Woohyun? TT__TT
Although I'm highly Sunggyu biased, I cannot really read the fics with Woohyun dying. I can handle it better if Sunggyu dies. Where's the logic in that, I have no idea. Why am I even here? OTL
Seriously, I love angst as much as I hate it. I will probably cry during every single chapter of this fic. But I gotta say, the plot sounds really, really good, so what the heck, I'll subscribe and wait patiently for my death. (x_x;)
