Matsua Yukiko is a cheerful girl who's passion is baking. She love to bake and wants to be a world class pâtissier someday. For now she works part time as a assistant baker at a small bakery a few blocks away from her apartment she shared with her two best friends, Naomi and Rin. 

Everyday riding on her white bicycle to work, she pass through the florist, the cheerful elderly couple who goes exercising everyday and also she walk through a park where there were many trees around especially her favorite trees; the cherry blossom. She love watching the pink and white up on the trees during the spring especially. 

One fine day, it was  a cheerful day for her as she wasn't late at all that day, she was cycling to work as usual passing through the florist who gave her a rose and also the elderly couple who waved as she passed them. 

She was enjoying the bright sunshine when she heard some yell out ''Watch out!'' but it was too late as before she could break she fell on the ground and got a little wound on her knee

''Ano.....daijobu desuka?'' the person she bumped into said and she replied

''d-daijobu desu....'' she tried getting up slowly and saw the bleeding knee. ''It hurts'' she said

''Oh you're hurt..here...let' me treat you for that'' he said and she nodded

''A-arigatou'' she said and saw the person left and came back with a plastic bag in hand. He took out ointment and also band aid. 

'He was careful as he treated her wounds and she thanked him ''Arigatou gozaimasu"'she said bowing

''Daijobu desu. Accident happen desho? You must be careful next time okay?" he said with a smile

''h-hai!'' she said. Then Yukiko look at her watch and her eyes went wide ''i'm late for work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'' she pick up her bicycle and said goodbye ánd left forgetting about her bag

The person picked it up and decided to give it back to her. Who knew the meeting was just the beginning.

That afternoon she came back and realized ''Oh, my bag! Shoot!!! I must find it!'' she thought and went to look around the park. But to much avail she couldn't find it. 

She sat on a bench and cried. Then as she was sobbing she cried. Then she felt something soft on her face and the person she met this morning gave her  a tissue. 

''Why are you crying?'' he ask

''ooh.......''she wiped her eyes with the tissue ''I-i lost my bag! It has a special possession in it...I can't lose it'' 

He just smiled and said ''You mean this bag?'' he ask taking out a bag from underneath the seat. She grabbed it and hugged it lovingly 

''Oh, how'd you find it?'' she asks

He replied ''You left it after rushing to work this morning. I had to pick it up. You have to be careful next time okay?'' he said and she nodded

''Arigatou'' she said

He nodded and stood up and she look up at him ''Wait, I don't even know your name'' she said

He look back at her and replied ''It's Yuya. Yuya Takaki. It's nice to meet you Yukiko-chan'' he said and left her. She was confused 

''Wait, how does he know my name?'' she thought and she just scratch her head and stood up putting her bag in the basket and cycled home. On the way she can't help but think of him. His smile, his eyes and also...his lips. She shook her head and soon enough she reached home. 

The next morning, she saw a bouquet of flowers delivered to her 'For Matsua Yukiko. A beautiful bouquet for a beautiful girl that brightens your day'' it said on the card and she knew who wrote it. She smiled as she cycled to work and had a great day. 

Everyday she would get bouquet of flowers with special messages and it brighten up her day until one particular one catches her eye 

''I want to be someone in your heart forever, will you accept me and forever be mine?'' 

She then saw him outside the door waiting for her and she knew she have to him him her answer. She nodded and she saw him grin from ear to ear. She knew it was just a beginning of a beautiful relationship. 

They secretly dated, after she found out that he were an idol who can't date anyone. She knew about his past love life. having to break up with someone because of a scandal she suddenly felt scared. But he assured her that it will be fine unless that they don't show their relationship to others. 

But one day, while going shopping in disguise at a busy shopping district, a paparazzi followed them and took pictures of them. It was on the cover the week later and they knew they're in huge trouble. Yukiko received a phone call from someone name Kitagawa Johnny and ask to meet at his office. 

She came and met with Yuya in the elevator. It was silent all the way up but Yuya just grabbed her hand and told her that it will be fine. She felt sure it will be but  who knew what will happen soon. 

"Matsua-san, I presume'' Kitagawa-san said, an old man in his late 80's said and Yukiko nodded 

''H-hai....'' she said

''You know I find it hard to keep these boys from scandals but you.....you made it very clear that there was something going on between you and him. I assume you knew about what Takaki-san's previous relationship?' the old man ask

Yukiko nodded ''Yes sir.....but.....'' Yukiko said trying to defend herself

''But what? You want to ruin his career?'' the old man said

''Iie...its not like that at all sir....'' she said ''I-'' she got caught when Yuya cut in

''What do we have to do to clear the scandal sir?'' Yuya said

Kitagawa-san look at the both of them and said ''Break up and let the scandal fade away'' 

''You are being unfair Kitagawa-san! These boys deserve to love!'' Yukiko said with tears in her eyes

''I don't want anymore word of it. Matsua-san, I hope you will live a happy life. Takaki-san will be needing this as this is his own future'' Kitagawa said

''Hai....wakarimaa...'' the both of them said 

''You may go'' the old man said and turned the chair around facing the huge glass window behind him. The both of them left the office, looking at each other sadly and entered the elevator to go down. 

In the elevator, there were only silence and she turned away from him. He grabbed her by her shoulder and said ''Yukiko........aishteru.....gomenasai....for hurting you this way'' 

Yukiko look at him sadly and said ''d-daijobu.....for now.....we'll be strangers......nothing more nothing less....'' she said and the door of the elevator opened and Yukiko left, leaving the distraught Yuya forever. 

A week later, Yuya tried to find Yukiko but to avail there were no hope at all. She was gone. Rin and Naomi told him she left to France to pursue her dream to be a pâtissier and he knew she moved on. He knew it was too late now to propose to her. The ring he bought for her were kept hidden and he would feel sad thinking of her. Who knew that they'd meet again at an unexpected day many years later. 

Five years later:

Yuya's member Ryosuke got engaged and knew they must hold a special event for the couple. Yukiko came back secretly after having news her best friend is engaged and she was thrilled. She decided to bake the cake for the wedding and knew she have to come back. Who knew they would meet unexpectedly

It was a warm Spring day and everyone was busy for the lunch event. Yukiko was in the kitchen when Naomi came and called her for photoshots with the couple. 

Yukiko were reluctant to go but after a long persuasion she finally came out and she wore a beautiful white gown that suits her bodyline. 

Everyone were amazed by her beauty. Even the members of Hey!Say!JUMP! were dazzled by her beauty

''Uwahhh! Kireiii na!'' they all said. Except for one particular member. He can't keep his eyes off of her. She was beautiful as always

''Beautiful as always'' he mumbled and Hikaru elbowed him 

''Oi, why you staring at her like that?'' Hikaru ask ''You like her don't you?''

Yuya just shook his head ''Iie...I just find her beauiful just the way she wore that dress'' he answered

''Eh? Hontou? Well then since you don't think of her as a woman can I go and ask her to date me?'' Hikaru ask then at that moment his best friend and crush came and pinch him ''Oi, what you saying?!'

''It's not like that!'' Hikaru said ''Owwww!!'' he was dragged away and Yuya just smirked. He continued watching her until the event ended at four thirty. It was starting to rain and she was shading from the rain

He got into his car and called her to come in the car. ''get in! I'll bring you back to your place'' he said

She heard thunder and quickly get in and the car sped away. There were only silence between them and then he stopped the car in front of a nearby park and saw that it stopped raining. ''Come in, I want to show you something'' he said and she got out of the car

Despite the fact that she tried to hate him she knew she can't. He willingly gave up his relationship to save his dignity and her life from all the fangirls. She knew it's for the best. ''Come sit'' he offered the place on the bench next to him and she carefully sat beside him

There were only silence between them and she knew there must be reason why he brought her here

''Why did you bring me here Yuya?'' she ask

He look at her and smiled ''Don't you remember this place?'' he ask and she looked around.. Of course she remembers it. It's the place they've met five years ago. 

''Brings back memories isn't it'' he said with a smile 

''I guess......look Yuya...I'm tired and I need to rest! Can you bring me home now'' she said

He look at he with a pout '' What happened to you? You've...'' she look away and he continued ''changed''

''Of course I have......I am not the cheerful 21 year old girl you met five years ago. I am a woman,with a career in life'' she said

''What happen to you'' he said as he look straight into her eyes 

She turned away and stood up ''I'm going home. Goodbye Takaki Yuya. I hope to never see you again from now on'' she said and was about  to leave when he pulled her hand and hugged her from behind. She felt her breath got caught in . Her heart was pumping loudly and she knew she had to resist it. She closed her eyes and she felt him turn her. 

''Open your eyes and tell me.....what happen? What happen five years ago that made you change?'' he ask

''Reality...thats what made me change. Now leave me alone. I want to go home'' she said pulling to get free but he was too strong for her. She felt him hugging her tightly and she can't help the tears anymore.

''I miss you so much Yukiko.....'' he said slowly. She cried and knew it was time to tell him the truth. The reason why she left. They settled back on the bench and she told him

''I was pregnant....'' she said and his eyes were wide. 

''What??'' he said, surprised

''But..........I was very unfortunate.........'' she said

'W-what happened to you?'' he ask, a bit worried

''I fell and had a miscarriage. I'm sorry. I knew I wanted to tell you but then back then it was hard to tell you'' she said, sadly

He held her hand tightly and hugged her ''It's alright....just cry....just cry''' he said

That day, Yukiko cried her heart contents. Five years of keeping it hidden finally it's out and knew that things happen for a reason. Yuya comforted her until she feels better and brought her home. 

''Thank you...Yuya-kun...for listening to me....and gomen....for not telling you....'' she said

''It's alright, I understand you must''ve gone through a lot while you were in France'' he said

'She gave him a small smile and said ''Jaa...oyasumi Yuya-kun'' 

''Oyasumi.....amai yume na...sweet dreams'' he said as she came out of the car and waved goodbye disappearing into the apartment. He watched her until he saw a light in the window, the same window he used to look up to after every date he had with her five years ago. 

For the next few days, she and Yuya spent time together as friends, but in other people's eyes they look as they were in a relationship. Nobody knew of their past relationship. Just the both of them knew.  They spent as much time as they can before Yukiko departs back to France. 

One day, a day before Yukiko's departure back to France Yuya and Yukiko hold a special event for themselves. Yuya made Yukiko wore a simple black dress

while he wore a black shirt with jeans

They had dinner, at a small restaurant Yuya booked and just the two of them together. The food came and Yukiko was surprised and they had champagne

"WOW! What....what is all these for?'' she said surprised

''Well its a celebration for you and for you to do your best in the near future!'' he said

"Why, thank you Takaki-kun....but isn't this all way too much and oh my God! is that chocolate?'' she ask as the dessert came

"Your favorite desho?'' he said and she nodded

''Un! Arigatou na......Itadakimasu!'' she said and ate happily. He saw her happy expression and hope it stay that way forever. He was staring so much she felt uncomfortable

''What?'' she ask

''Nothing...I find you cute..'' he said and she blushed 

"Stop it...."'she placed a hand on her red cheeks. He then knelt down on one knee and said 

''Yukiko, give me another chance.....I promise I will never disappoint you ever again'' 

''Yuya-kun.....w-what is....'' she said confused and then she nodded

'He kissed her and the fireworks blew out ending the night together. They knew their relationship will forever be just between them both and there will be nobody in between them. Forever and ever.
