Prologue:

Music.

Beat.

Spin.

Step.

Twirl.

Sweat.

Tears.

Fumble.

Trip.

Fall…

            I sat closing my eyes to let the salty wet droplets leak out, I held my knees close to my chest and sobbed into them wishing this wasn’t happening. A world falling apart.

“You’re giving up dance.”

            Dad’s voice was echoing in my brain bouncing on the sides trying to get out making my worst nightmare a reality.

“You can’t sing anymore.”

            How you can you give someone something so beautiful to love then rip it from their fingertips and never return it? My heart was tearing apart as I gripped my chest, it hurt so much.

“You have to start thinking about your future!”

            This was my future, this was all my life. I put all I had into this. I would give everything just to return to this point again. I screamed loudly, maybe if I can’t speak anymore I won’t be sad that I can’t sing, if I break my legs maybe I wouldn’t cry about not being able to dance.

            I gripped my arms tightly breaking the skin not wanting to let go until all the pain stopped, until everything just went away. If she hadn’t left then none of this would’ve happened. Everything would be fine if she was still here.

But it wasn’t her fault that she left, it was his.

A/N: Second story on here and I know I'm not done with my last one but I'll get it finished don't worry. I have a lot of ideas for it still so its far from over. I actually started this a long time ago but wasn't sure where I was going with it. But here it is, rough around the edges and everything :)
