Hey, do you know about it? If you turn that corner there,

there's a cafe that everyone in the class has been talking about'

Deep in the streets of Tokyo stands a cake shop, with an eye-catchingly cute pink exterior and an even more attractive window display - it's Café Buono!, a patisserie popular with teenagers and schoolkids from all over the area. The three girls in charge, Tsugunaga Momoko, Natsuyaki Miyabi and Suzuki Airi, are alented bakers and fantastic waitresses with bright futures ahead of them. However, just as Café Buono!'s popularity is reaching its peak, the girls get into a fight and Airi splits from the trio. When the remaining two discover that Airi has joined the ranks of Café Buono!'s up-and-coming rival, ℃-utie Caramel, they realise that their only option is to team up with the five girls of soon-to-open café, Very Berryz House, and battle against their old friend. Who's café will come out on top? And will the old bonds of a trio of friends ever be repaired?

Foreword

So, yeah, it seems like a silly idea, but it just came to me one day and it was the first idea I'd ever had for a fanfic seemed to have any form of structured plotline, so, I went for it. It's actually pretty different from the kind of fanfic I like or, even, would like to write, but I guess I have to step out of my comfort zone at some point and what better time to do it than when I'm just getting back into the whole fanfic thing?

I guess, since the kind of fanfics I mainly want to write are a lot darker, this could act as something to fall back on when I want to write something nice and light, you know? This is just meant to be light-hearted and, maybe, a little fun, so yeah~
