Day 1 Academia Down

Why Won't They Leave Me Alone?

♥ ♬ LISA POV ♬  ♥

As the school day drew to a close, I found myself in the gym with the boys and Soonbok, gearing up for our after-school activities. The atmosphere was lively, filled with the sounds of laughter and friendly banter.

But as we settled into our routine, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that washed over me. I noticed a group of girls entering the gym, their eyes trained on me with a mixture of curiosity and disdain.

I exchanged a wary glance with Ravi, Youngbae, and Leo, sensing trouble on the horizon. The girls approached us with a confident stride, their demeanor oozing with arrogance.

"Well, well, well, look who it is," one of the girls sneered, her voice dripping with malice.

I plastered on a polite smile, trying to maintain my composure despite the rising tension. "Hi there," I greeted, though my voice wavered slightly.

The girls exchanged knowing glances, their smirks widening as they sized me up. "So, you're the new girl everyone's been talking about," another girl chimed in, her tone laced with sarcasm.

I nodded, feeling a knot form in the pit of my stomach. "That's right," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.

But the girls weren't done yet. They continued to circle around me, their gazes lingering on my skin and hair. "You know, we don't get many... foreigners around here," one of them remarked, her words laced with thinly veiled contempt.

I felt a surge of anger rise within me, but I forced myself to stay calm. "Well, I'm here now," I retorted, my voice tinged with defiance.

The girls exchanged incredulous glances, as if they couldn't believe I had the audacity to stand up to them. But before they could respond, the boys stepped in to defend me.

"Hey, lay off," Youngbae snapped, his voice firm with authority. "There's no need for that kind of talk."

Ravi nodded in agreement, his expression steely. "Yeah, we won't tolerate any racism here."

Leo stepped forward, his presence commanding. "It's about time you learned some manners."

The girls recoiled at the boys' words, their confidence faltering in the face of such fierce opposition. They exchanged hurried whispers among themselves before finally turning on their heels and storming out of the gym.

As the tension dissipated, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards the boys and Soonbok. They had stood by my side, defending me against the hateful remarks of others.

♥ ♬ LEO POV ♬  ♥

As we rode home, the atmosphere in the car was charged with a mixture of excitement and tension. The run in the gynanasium had us shook to say the least, first hand I just witnessed an obvious display of jealousy and racism; A group of girls who could never compare to a girl as striking and unique as Lisa in eyes of any slightly intrigued or curious Korean guy.

I couldn't help but steal glances at Lisa whenever I thought she wasn't looking, my heart pounding with anticipation.

When we finally pulled up to Lisa's house, I felt a surge of nervous energy coursing through me. It was late, and the darkness of the night seemed to amplify the intensity of the moment.

"Hey, Lisa, do you want me to walk you to the door?" I offered, my voice betraying my eagerness.

Lisa's eyes met mine, and for a moment, I thought I saw a flicker of surprise in her gaze. "Um, sure, that would be nice," she replied, her voice soft and gentle.

As we stepped out of the car, I couldn't help but feel a sense of exhilaration coursing through me. This was my chance to show Lisa how much she meant to me, to prove that I could be the one to protect her and keep her safe.

As we walked towards the entrance of her mansion, I felt a surge of pride swelling within me. It was a moment of triumph, a chance to assert my dominance and show Lisa that I was worthy of her affection.

But as we reached the front door, I couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty that gnawed at me. Would Lisa see me as more than just a friend? Would she reciprocate my feelings, or would I be left with a heart full of unrequited love?

Lost in my thoughts, I barely noticed Ravi's presence beside us, his gaze flickering between Lisa and me. I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy at the sight of him, knowing that he too harbored feelings for Lisa.

But as Lisa turned to bid us goodnight, her smile lighting up the darkness, I knew that this moment was about us. It was about the connection that had blossomed between us, the spark of attraction that had ignited in our hearts.

As I watched her disappear into the mansion, my heart swelled with a mixture of longing and hope. Whatever the future held, I knew that I would always cherish this moment, this fleeting glimpse of possibility in the darkness of the night.

Friday afternoon rolled around, signaling the impending arrival of the weekend. As I navigated the bustling halls of the school, I felt a sense of excitement tinged with anticipation. The prospect of two days of freedom stretched out before me, filled with endless possibilities.

As I approached my locker, I spotted Soonbok waiting for me, her bright smile instantly lifting my spirits. "Hey, girl!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with warmth.

"Hey, Soonbok! Ready for the weekend?" I replied, returning her smile.

"Absolutely! But first, we've got to survive this last class," she said with a playful wink.

I chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Let's do this."

As we made our way to our final class of the day, I couldn't help but notice a familiar group of girls approaching us. My stomach clenched with apprehension, but this time, I refused to let their negativity affect me.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the new girl again," one of the girls sneered, her tone dripping with condescension.

I raised an eyebrow, summoning all the confidence and sassiness I could muster. "Oh, look who decided to grace us with their presence again," I retorted, my voice dripping with sarcasm.

The girls exchanged startled glances, clearly taken aback by my boldness. But I refused to back down, standing tall and proud in the face of their judgment.

"Listen, honey, I don't have time for your drama," I continued, my tone laced with disdain. "So why don't you take your negativity elsewhere and let the rest of us enjoy our Friday?"

Soonbok shot me a surprised yet impressed look, her eyes shining with admiration. "Damn, girl, you tell 'em!" she exclaimed, giving me a high-five.

The girls, clearly rattled by my confident demeanor, muttered something unintelligible before scurrying away, their tails between their legs.

As Soonbok and I headed to our final class, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction coursing through me. I had stood up for myself, refusing to let anyone dim my shine or bring me down.

With newfound confidence and a fierce determination, I faced the weekend head-on, ready to embrace whatever adventures lay ahead. And as I walked into class, I knew that nothing and no one could stop me from living my best life.

As the final class of the day came to an end, Soonbok and I eagerly made our way to meet up with Ravi, Youngbae, and Leo. The prospect of spending the weekend with them filled me with excitement, and I couldn't wait to hang out together.

"Hey, guys!" I greeted them with a bright smile as we met up outside the classroom.

"Hey, Lisa! Ready for some weekend fun?" Ravi exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.

"You bet! But first, we need to ask our parents if we can hang out at my place," I replied, my excitement building.

We quickly made our way to our respective homes, and I wasted no time in asking my parents for permission to host a get-together. To my delight, they agreed, and soon enough, our little group was gathered at my house, ready to kick off the weekend festivities.

Soonbok, ever the social butterfly, begged me to invite Youngbae's friends over as well. "Come on, Lisa, please! I really want to see Seungri again," she pleaded, her eyes wide with excitement.

I hesitated for a moment, but eventually relented, knowing how much it meant to her. "Alright, fine. But you owe me," I teased, giving her a playful nudge.

With the invitation extended, it wasn't long before Youngbae's friends arrived, filling the house with their lively energy. But as the evening wore on, tensions began to rise, fueled by the obvious attraction many of them felt towards me.

As we settled into Lisa's house, I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy as I watched the interactions between her and Youngbae's friends. It was clear that I wasn't the only one harboring feelings for her, and the thought of competing with them for her attention left me feeling uneasy.

But I pushed those feelings aside, determined to make the most of our time together. "Hey, Lisa, can I get you a drink?" I offered, hoping to steal a few moments alone with her.

Lisa smiled gratefully, accepting the drink with a nod of thanks. "Thanks, Ravi. You're the best," she replied, her voice warm and genuine.

As we chatted and laughed together, I couldn't shake the feeling of longing that washed over me whenever I looked at her. Despite the competition from Youngbae's friends, I was determined to prove to Lisa that I was the one who truly cared for her.

Entering Lisa's house, I felt a mix of excitement and trepidation. The prospect of spending time with Lisa outside of school was exhilarating, but it also brought with it a sense of uncertainty. As we settled into the lively atmosphere of the gathering, I couldn't help but notice the way my friends gravitated towards Lisa, each vying for her attention in their own way.

GD, always the charmer, seemed determined to monopolize Lisa's time, his smooth words and confident demeanor making it clear that he had his sights set on her. I watched with a mixture of admiration and concern as he leaned in close to her, his voice low and persuasive as he regaled her with stories of his latest exploits.

But as the evening wore on, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled in the pit of my stomach. Despite GD's best efforts, it was clear that Lisa was not as enamored with him as he was with her. There was a subtle tension between them, a silent battle of wills that played out beneath the surface.

As the night progressed, I found myself drawn to Lisa's side, unable to resist the pull of her magnetic energy. We engaged in conversation, discussing everything from our favorite music to our dreams for the future. Despite the chaos of the evening, I felt a sense of peace wash over me in her presence, a feeling of belonging that I had never experienced before.

But as the night wore on, tensions began to rise, fueled by the simmering competition for Lisa's affections. GD's attempts to monopolize her attention grew more brazen, his words bordering on flirtatious as he leaned in close to her.

I watched with growing concern as Lisa's discomfort became more pronounced, her polite smiles faltering under GD's relentless pursuit. Sensing her distress, I stepped in, placing a hand on GD's shoulder and gently pulling him aside.

"Hey, GD, why don't you give Lisa a break?" I suggested, my tone firm but polite. "She's probably tired of hearing you talk about yourself all night."

GD's eyes narrowed, his expression shifting from suave to defensive in an instant. "What's your problem, TOP?" he shot back, his voice laced with irritation.

"My problem is that you're making Lisa uncomfortable," I replied evenly, refusing to back down. "Why don't you give someone else a chance to talk for once?"

GD's jaw clenched, but before he could respond, Lisa stepped in, her voice calm but firm as she defused the tension between us. "It's okay, TOP. I appreciate the concern, but I can handle myself," she said, her gaze steady as she met my eyes.

I nodded, grateful for her intervention. Despite the brief conflict, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Lisa for standing up for herself. As the evening wore on, I made a mental note to keep a close eye on GD's behavior, determined to ensure that Lisa felt safe and respected in our presence.

As the tension simmered between GD and Seungri, their exchange of words becoming increasingly heated, Lisa stepped forward, her voice calm but commanding.

"Hey, boys, let's cool it down, okay?" she said, her tone gentle but firm. "We're all here to have fun, and there's no need for this drama."

GD shot her a defiant look, his frustration evident in his expression. "But Lisa, he's the one who started it," he protested, gesturing towards Seungri.

Seungri smirked, crossing his arms over his chest. "Oh, please, GD. You were the one who couldn't handle a little teasing," he retorted, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

Lisa rolled her eyes, a hint of exasperation creeping into her voice. "Enough, you two," she said, her tone leaving no room for argument. "Let's just enjoy the rest of the evening, okay?"

To my surprise, both GD and Seungri relented, their expressions softening as they realized the gravity of Lisa's words. With a nod of agreement, they turned their attention elsewhere, the tension in the room gradually dissipating.

As the night wore on, we continued to chat and laugh together, the earlier conflict all but forgotten. Despite the drama, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Lisa for her calm demeanor and quick thinking.

As the evening drew to a close, I found myself stealing glances at Lisa, unable to shake the feeling of admiration that welled up inside me. She truly was a force to be reckoned with, and I couldn't wait to see what adventures lay ahead for us all.

As Youngbae's friends bid us farewell and made their way out of Lisa's house, I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy gnawing at me. It wasn't just GD's flirtatious behavior that bothered me, but also the ease with which Lisa seemed to interact with TOP.

As the door closed behind them, I excused myself from the group and made my way upstairs, needing some space to process my thoughts. I found a quiet corner in the hallway and leaned against the wall, running a hand through my hair in frustration.

"Hey, Ravi, you okay?"

I looked up to see Youngbae approaching, concern etched on his face. I forced a smile, trying to brush off my feelings of jealousy. "Yeah, I'm fine," I replied, though my tone lacked conviction.

Youngbae raised an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. "Come on, man, I can tell something's bothering you," he said, his voice gentle but firm. "You can talk to me about it, you know."

I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to articulate my feelings. But as I looked into Youngbae's eyes, I knew I couldn't keep my emotions bottled up any longer.

"It's just... I don't know, man," I began, my voice trailing off as I struggled to find the right words. "I guess I'm just feeling a little... insecure about Lisa."

Youngbae nodded in understanding, placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "I get it, Ravi. It's natural to feel that way when you care about someone," he said, his tone sympathetic. "But you have to remember, Lisa chose to spend time with us tonight. That says a lot about how she feels about you."

I took a deep breath, letting Youngbae's words sink in. He was right - Lisa had chosen to spend time with us, and I couldn't let my insecurities get in the way of that.

"Thanks, Youngbae," I said, offering him a grateful smile. "I needed to hear that."

Youngbae returned the smile, squeezing my shoulder in a gesture of support. "Anytime, man. We're all in this together, remember?"

With Youngbae's words echoing in my mind, I pushed aside my feelings of jealousy and made my way back downstairs, ready to enjoy the rest of the evening with Lisa and our friends.

♥ ♬ LEO POV ♬  ♥

As I watched Ravi and Lisa interact, a sense of unease settled in the pit of my stomach. It wasn't that I didn't trust Ravi - he was my brother, after all - but there was something about the way Lisa looked at him that made my heart ache with jealousy.

I knew I had to make my feelings known before it was too late, before Ravi and Lisa grew even closer and left me behind. But how could I compete with my own brother for her affections?

As the evening drew to a close, I made my way over to Lisa, my heart pounding in my chest. She looked up at me with a smile, her eyes bright with curiosity.

"Hey, Lisa," I said, trying to keep my voice steady despite the turmoil raging inside me. "Can I talk to you for a moment?"

She nodded, her smile faltering slightly as she sensed the seriousness of my tone. "Of course, Leo. What's on your mind?"

I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts before speaking. "I just wanted to say... I really enjoy spending time with you," I began, my voice hesitant but sincere. "And I hope you know that I... well, that I care about you a lot."

Lisa's eyes widened in surprise, her lips parting slightly as she processed my words. "Leo, I..." she began, but I held up a hand to silence her.

"I know we've only known each other for a short time, but... I can't shake this feeling that we have something special," I continued, my heart pounding in my chest. "And I just wanted to let you know how I feel before it's too late."

There was a moment of silence as Lisa processed my confession, her expression unreadable. But then, to my relief, a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips.

"Leo, I... I had no idea you felt that way," she said softly, her voice filled with emotion. "And... I want you to know that I care about you too."

A wave of relief washed over me at her words, and I couldn't help but return her smile. In that moment, I knew that no matter what the future held, I had made my feelings known, and that was all that mattered.
