Foreword

Hmm... warmth... I sighed as I laid on my stomach beneath the covers of my bed. Slowly drifting in and out of sleep. I my back and immediately groaned, covering my eyes with my arm. I lifted my head and squinted to see the curtain was opened a fraction, letting the blinding light pour through in a stream and land on my face. Ironically, the one morning I get to sleep in is the same morning the sun decides to pop through a slit in the curtain and agitate my poor eyes. I sighed and sat up, glancing down at the brown head popping out from under the covers. I grinned. The sheets had been pulled right up around her. You couldn't even see her pretty little face, just the brown crown of her head sticking out of the top. Graceful everywhere except in her sleep. I pulled the quilts from my legs and smiled as I stood up, remembering when I had to invest in a separate quilt at one stage because she stole the covers. Then another bed the next night because apparently if she couldn't deprive me of my warmth, she had to deprive me of my half of the bed. I woke up on the floor the next morning only to find her with both covers wrapped around her tiny frame.

I heard her stir as I walked into the bathroom, giving up on falling back to sleep. I the tap in the sink and splashed my face with cold water before drying my face and tip toeing back into the bedroom. I smirked at seeing her spread across the bed, fast asleep again. I made my way down stairs and ran across the tiled floors, sliding to a halt on my socks. I the stereo and cranked up the volume before switching the CD to track 6. I smiled as She's so Lovely by Scouting for Girls began to fill the house.

I love the way she fills her clothes
I love those freckles on her nose...

I began to sing along as I made my way into the kitchen. Taking out the eggs and bacon from the fridge, I set a frying pan on the stove with some oil in the bottom before turning it on. Taking out the orange juice, I grabbed two glasses and two plates from the cupboard and set them on the counter. I slid back over to the stove and cracked four eggs into the pan and grinned when I heard the bottom drawer being opened from our bedroom. I turned just as the song ended to see her walking over to the stereo in her pajamas (my boxers and a singlet).

"My turn," she grinned, scanning through the songs. I laughed at her songs choice.

I slid over to her and took her hand, dancing 50's style as I sang to Little Jackie Cooper.

She giggled in delight.

"Jiyoung, the eggs are going to burn," she laughed, pointing to the smoking pan.

"Oh, crap," I swore as I ran back to the stove and turned down the heat, flipping them over.

"I hope you didn't want sunny side up," I grinned over my shoulder.

Sliding two cooked eggs onto each plate, I turned back to cook the bacon. When I had finished, we ate standing by the counter laughing and flicking food at each other, embracing the ambiance that was created by the sun and music.

Thank god it was Sunday!

When we finished, we started to wash the dishes by hand.

"Hey, JungAh," I called with a smile. She looked up from drying a plate and I grinned evilly at her.

Her eyes widened.

"No," she shook her head in horror.

"Yes," I grinned mischievously and took a hand full of suds.

I pounced on her. She screamed as I rubbed the bubbles into her hair with one hand while the other stopped her from making an escape. She screamed playfully and wriggled against me. I let go, bursting into laughter at seeing her wet, disheveled hair.

"Oh, you're going to pay," she grinned evilly as she started to twirl her towel. The smile faded from my face.

"Oh, ," I squeaked before I took off. I ran through the lounge and out the other entrance, racing up the stairs, flying into our bedroom and slamming the door. I leaned up against it, my breath heaving before grinning.

"Ha," I scoffed.

"She thinks she can beat the fastest runner back in junior high? I don't think so," I smirked to myself before I stopped suddenly.

Something funny was going on for it was silent. I turned and silently opened the door to peek out to find the hall way was empty. I snuck out, being careful not to make the slightest noise. Tip toeing down the stairs, I slipped into the kitchen. I poked my head into the lounge only to find no one. Suddenly there was a snap and a stinging pain on my lower back. I sprung upright as I covered the small of my back with my hands and spun around to see a smirking JungAh in front of me. Towel in hand, her eyes gleamed as she began to wind the towel up again. I searched the room quickly and grabbed the towel that hung on the bench and flicked her with it. It hit her thigh in a loud fwip and she screamed.

"No fair, Jiyoung, your towel is wet," she whined. I grinned.

"So are you," I stood there and grinned.

Well, I wasn't standing for very long because she pounced on me and we both went tumbling to the floor.  She rolled off of me while we both suffocated ourselves in laughter. Finally settling down, I turned to her.

"You know," I began as I stood up. I held me hand out to her and helped her to her feet.

"What?" she asked, brushing herself off and picking up the towel.

"I like you so much better when you're ," I grinned and turned to run, but not before she had a chance to whip me with her towel again. I ran up stairs with her following me this time.

"I like you so much better when you're too," I heard her giggle as she chased me into our room.

I leaped onto the bed and she pushed me off of it as she joined me. I laughed as I hopped back on and wrestled her down. We collapsed onto the bed, breathing heavily and smiling. Our clothes and hair damp and ruffled. I turned my head to face her and she mirrored my actions. I grinned.

"That was almost as good as ."

"What do you say we do the latter?" she grinned impishly while a smirk graced my face.

Thank god it was Sunday!
