"There's one more secret," he whispered breathily. SooHyun waited, said nothing, listened as though life itself rested on this one moment, these whispered words. "But I don't think I can tell you yet."

SooHyun froze, disheartened.

"You know, one day the world will end," the boy mused. "We might even see that day. A little bit of me hopes I will." He paused, chuckled softly. "If I do... then that's when I'll tell you."

SooHyun smiled into the darkness, sighed softly, listened to the boy move around slightly.
