“Hi,” L said. Sulli didn’t realize that he had move until now. L is one of the most popular guys in the school, he’s good-looking (without doubt) and has a bunch of girls chasing him. What Sulli didn’t understand is why he’s here and why he’s talking to her.

“Uhmm….hi,” was Sulli’s reply; it came out more like a question rather than a greeting. She looked for people near her, thinking that he's not talking to her. 

“Don’t worry, I am talking to you.” Sulli whipped her head and faced L, a slight blush creeping on her face. How the hell did he know that, she thought.

“I’m L.” He extended a hand; Sulli shook it (which she thinks she did because she’s being nice). “I’m Choi Sulli.”

“But I heard your friend calling you Jinri.” He wasn’t letting go of her hand, instead he squeezed it. Sulli blushed beet red before replying; “Only people close to me calls me by my real name.”

“Can we be close friends, then?” L smiled. That shocked Sulli, her eyes looked as if they’re going to come out from their sockets. The famous, good-looking L wanted to be friends with her, a handsome boy wanting to be a close friend with an ordinary, awkward, clumsy person? “W-what?”

“I said let’s be friends.”

Sulli forcefully took her hand out from his grip. “Why?”

L leaned towards her and whispered on her ear, “Because,” pause, “I want to call a beautiful girl with her beautiful name.”

Sulli blushed and hesitantly said, “Fine, but as a condition, I have to call you by your real name.”

He smiled effortlessly. “No problem, Choi Jinri.” He pronounced each syllable of her name slowly.

“Thank you, Kim Myungsoo.”
