My Love’s Letter

Every day, hundreds of gifts and fan letters reach his doorstep but none were left answered, and only a few read. Find out how one missent letter changed one Kim Jaejoong.
Foreword
The icy cool breeze in the streets of Gongju kept Jaejoong inside the warmth of their house. It was one of those rare occasions when they were given a short break and he was spending it with his family. He was laughing and chatting with his sisters when a knock was heard.
Jaejoong was about to answer the door, when one of his sisters stopped him, cautious for it might be one of his stalkers. After a short while, his sister came back with a creased, white envelope and handed it to him.
Unlike the fan letters he used to receive, colourful and neat, this one looked like it was taken out of the garbage bin. Her sister told him about the minor accident the postman got himself into, thus, getting some parts of the letter wet. The ink smudged, erasing and blurring most of the words except for ‘joong’ and parts of their address.
Curiosity had taken over him completely, that he readily opened the letter with utmost care, not wanting to add more damage to its already poor state. As expected, he couldn’t make out the entire content. His sisters looked at him with interest as he tried to break the hidden message just like in movies.
His sisters saw his eyes widen, and they immediately moved to his side and looked at the letter. At the bottom, it read:
Joon, my aunt will take me to the Chungnam Forest Museum on the 22nd of January, 2008. I’ll be waiting.
