Being a tease

Being a tease

They sat on the bed in their hotel room at night and talked and laughed and fought playfully like they had done before.
It was a great feeling, matter of fact it was the best feeling he had had in month.
Yong Guk was back, his Yong Guk, his very own best friend and it was the most amazing feeling.

However with Yong Guk being back to who he was, it also meant he was back to knowing him better than anyone else.
Though on the one hand it was a very comforting feeling to have someone knowing him just as well as he knew himself on the other it could also be a pain in the .
And Himchan knew that Yong Guk knew what he was up to.

Yong Guk had kept an eye on him and he was not amused.

After they had talk about random s for a long while, Himchan knew it was about time for Yong Guk to bring some seriousness into their conversation.
And then the leader sat up on the bed again and Himchan knew what talk was coming at him.
He sat up as well and after taking a deep breath the other started talking about how Himchan teased Jongup and Himchan listened, nodding his head whether or not he really agreed with what the other uttered.
Yong Guk made it clear he did not approve of him playing with the younger boy.

“I don’t intent to lay my hands on him I swear.”
He tried to assure him, kneeling on the bed, head down and arms stretched over his head with the palms of his hands pressed together as if he was begging for his friends approval.
Yong Guk only raised an eyebrow and kicked his feet into his side, making Himchan drop on the bed.

“That is not even the problem! I’m not sure whether it’s a good or a bad thing.”
He said and Himchan sat next to him, his legs crossed, head tilted to the side with a suggestive smirk on his face.
“You mean you want me to sleep with him? You’re !”

He boxed Yong Guks arm lightly, winking at him.

“Gosh that’s not what I meant! I’m saying you shouldn’t hit on him if you don’t mean it.”
The second sentence was more of a mumble, carefully mouthed so the others wouldn’t hear through the thin walls.

“But I’m just teasing him!”

“And he doesn’t like it!” Yong Guk tried to argue but Himchan shook his head.
“I don’t think that’s true…”
He thought of the way Jongup had blushed and shuddered when he’d brushed his fingertips over the others neck in the van on their way to vacations.

“Oh please Himchan just stop it alright?” Yong Guk sighed in surrender.
The older gave up on the conversation and dropped down on the bed his hands crossed behind his head.
Himchan crawled next to him, one hand under his chin he stared at his friend, a playful and begging pout on his lips as he batted his laces.
His friend grumbled at the sight and rolled over so Himchan was left to stare at his back.

Yong Guk never said it but he knew that his actions around Jongup probably reminded him of his own encounter with Zelo, the fact that he’d gotten involved with the maknae, knowing that he had no feelings for him.
How from that point on everything took a downhill into a freaking hell of a mess and something all three of them tried to erase from their memory.
A while after everything had settled down again, Yong Guk had finally told him about the night he’d drunk too much and hit on the maknae.
For once Himchan had been able to understand those two a little more, though he still held a grudge against the Zelo from that time and Yong Guks behavior.

However everything had turned out well, even though they’d gone through world war three to get there, as Yongjae had put it before.

And he was different, he wasn’t Yong Guk and Jongup wasn’t Zelo, so he could probably take a joke right?
Also Jongup was just too easy to tease and it was just too much fun to do so.

He stuck his tongue out towards Yong Guks back and turned around to get a little sleep since their conversation had led to a dead end.
Yong Guk probably knew he’d never be able to talk him out of it because he was Himchan and once he had set his mind on something he’d pull through with it.
May it be good or bad, Himchan didn’t care.

They got to the beach with only four of them.
Youngjae was sick and Daehyun kept him company, as expected from the blond haired inseparable couple of friends.
Himchan couldn’t help but feel a little glad about the fact that “mother” Youngjae wasn’t present; dealing with Yong Guk alone was already hard enough, though it was fun in a way.
Having Youngjae keeping an eye on him as well would have been tiring, though Himchan figured there was a possibility the blonde boy would have only cared for Daehyun anyway.
Whatever, with only the four of them together he could probably drop Yong Guk on Zelo and hit two birds with one stone that way.
Zelo got to spend time with Yong Guk as he’d kept them from spending the nights together already and Yong Guk would have less time to nag with him about his little game.
Himchan smiled to himself, totally convinced of his little master plan.

Yong Guk coughed slightly beside him as they placed the towels on the sand.
Himchan looked at him, trying to put on an innocent expression.
“What are you planning out in your sick head?” Yong Guk whispered one eyebrow raised as he looked at him, eyes piecing through his mascaraed.
Himchan sighed.
They did know each other too well after all.
“Nothing” he uttered, the pitch of his voice a little too high to sound convincing.
Yong Guk glared at him.
“Whatever it is you better drop the thought, I’m warning you Kim Himchan!”
He pressed the words pass his teeth and Himchan bit his lip not to chuckle at the others attempt of threatening him.
“Yes sir!” He said with a smile, saluting to the other.
Yong Guk rolled his eyes.

After everything was set and Yong Guk dropped dead on his towel from blowing up a perceived amount of 100 blow up toys they all got comfortable.
Jongup lay on the far left next to Zelo, Himchan on the far right next to Yong Guk who kept gazing at him once in a while until he was convinced Himchan was on a save mindset.
The leader was too credulous.

It was cliché but Himchan couldn’t resist grabbing the bottle of sun protection from one of their bags and tip toeing over to Jongup.
Eager to pass by Yong Guk unnoticed who was lying on his towel, a shirt carelessly thrown over his face to block of the sun from disturbing his nap.
Zelo who was lying on his belly reading a manhwa novel, glanced over the edge of his book when he past him, Himchan winked at him, hoping for him to stay quiet.
Zelo only snorted amused and sank his eyes back on the pages.

He dropped down next to Jongup, bending over him, his shadow covering Jongups face with darkness.
The other furrowed his eyes on the sudden disappearance of sunlight tingling on his skin.
His eyes opened slowly and Himchan looked right back at him.
The younger gave him a displeased glance but Himchan smiled at him, holding up the bottle so Jongup could see it.
“Mind me to help you with this?” Himchan asked nicely.
Jongup glanced at the bottle then back to his face.
“I can do it myself.” He said, his hand grabbing for the bottle but Himchan pulled it back before he could get a hold of it.
“You can’t unless you plan to roast your front only.” He said with a wink and Jongup grumbled a little.
“Come on! You don’t want to keep lying on your back forever right?”
Jongup sighed and sat up.
“That’s a good dongsaeng.” Himchan joked and patted his shoulder.

He crawled behind the other, placing his legs left and right beside the others body.
Jongup sat uncomfortably straight, his body tense as Himchan unscrewed the bottle and poured some of the fluid into his hand.
He slapped Jongups back softly, a little giggle passing his lips as the younger boy flinched.
“Hey relax a little.” He teased and Jongup dropped his shoulders into a more comfortable position.
He spread the cream over Jongups shoulders, feeling the other shudder at the impact of cold fluid on his skin.
His hands ran gently up and down the others back and he smiled to himself when Jongup leant into his touch as he massages his shoulders lightly.
The others skin felt hot beneath his fingers as he brushed them over the smooth surface.
The scent of Jongup mixed with the soft note of sunscreen had Himchans body tingle unexpectedly. He leant his head down a little to breathe in the luscious flavor, his hands repeatedly drawing circles on the others back.
He kneaded the area above his shoulder blades, running his fingertips over them and down over his sides with comfortable pressure.
He was sure he could hear a pleased purring sound coming from the younger boy as his body relaxed and he sank into his touch.
This was not even teasing and Himchan was certainly enjoying it more than it was healthy.
He tried to mentally slap himself out of his misty state of mind but found himself failing miserably.

His hands slid over Jongups sides, slowly making their way towards his belly.
“Hyung?” he heard Jongups voice quietly questioning his movement.

Himchans hands traced along Jongups waist to his belly; softly caressing his abs, brushing his fingertips over the hard muscles.
Jongup was about to jump out of his grasp but Himchan pulled him back, wrapping his arms around the others body, pressing his back onto his chest tightly.

“Hyung!” Jongups voice rang loudly from his throat as a slight panicked expressing took over his features.
Yong Guks head shoot up.
He looked at the two.
Jongup tangled in Himchans embrace, struggling to push off the pair of arms that were wrapped around his body.
“Hey!” the leader shouted and it pulled Himchan back out of his mental haze.
He laughed and places a peck on the younger boys neck, his eyes set in Yong Guks direction as he did so.
“Kim Himchan!” he heard Yong Guks voice ring in his ears and released Jongup from his grip.
He shot the leader an innocent glance.
“What?” he asked happily while Zelo wiggled in the sand next to him laughing wildly.
Yong Guk shot both of them a glare then looked at Jongup who was looking more than just a little distraught.
“A word.” He mumbled and signaled Himchan to follow him.
Himchan got up from behind Jongup.
As soon as Yong Guk had turned his back on him he slid his fingertips over Jongups shoulders from one shoulder blade to the other.
He felt the younger boy shudder under his light touch and a pleased smile graced his lips.
“Himchan!” he heard the others husky voice bark.
“Coming!” he warbled and jumped over the towels, stumbling after his friend.

Jongup sighed in relieve.
“I don’t understand what’s gotten into him.” Jongup mumbled his eyes furrowed as he sank his feet into the sand.
Zelo placed his book down neatly and sat up next to his friend.

On the other side of the pier Himchan and Yong Guk were quarreling.
Himchans had his hands set into his hips calmly while Yong Guks arms flew through the air, gesturing wildly as he tried to talk sense into his friend.
Zelo bit down on his lips, trying to suppress a huge grin that formed on his lips.
“I don’t think anyone except himself will ever understand.” The maknae answered, eyes fixed on the hyungs.
He
snorted cheerfully at the sight of Yong Guk throwing a huge blow-up wale in Himchans direction.
Jongups expression didn’t change at all, his eyes stayed furrowed and his lips crinkled.
Zelos elbow nudged into his side.
“Don’t think too much, your pretty face is going to age in no time if you do.”
“How can you say that so calmly!” Jongups voice raised a notch and Zelo drew back a little, eyes wide before another grin took over his face.
“Do you like him?”
The younger boy asked, his nose crinkled as his lips drew a roguish smile from one ear to the other.
“What?”
Jongup stared at him with wide open eyes.
Zelo poked his finger into his side and again and again, Jongup bending to the side trying to escape his attacks.
“You like him!” the pink haired boy sing-sang as his fingers kept tormenting the others skin.
A light hint of red spread over Jongups cheeks as he plead for the other to stop.
His hands ran through his short hair and in a flash he was on his feet, startling the younger boy with his sudden move making him toppled backwards into the sand.
“I’m not having this conversation.” Jongup said eyes still furrowed but lips now drawing an obvious pout.
He in his bottom lip, biting down on it as he brushed off the sand from his legs and shorts and stomped off towards the kiosk.

Zelo chuckled and waved Yong Guk over who was just on his way back to their spot after Himchan had cut off their conversation and left him to dive off into the waves.
He couldn’t suppress the grin on his face when Yong Guk finally fell into the sand next to him.
“What?” the leader asked and looked at him estimating, one brow raised in respond to Zelos shrewd expression.
The maknae waved him closer again and Yong Guk robbed up a little so Zelo could bend over him and whisper into his ear.
“I think they’ll work.” He explained, and Yong Guk drew back a flash of horror and disbelieve showing on his handsome features.
Zelo clapped his hands and wiggled his body while little naughty laughter passed his lips.
Yong Guk only rolled his eyes and shoved the youngers shoulder, making him fall sideways onto the pile of sand, Jongup had built with his feet before.
“Don’t get so excited.” He scolded with a smile and Zelo laughed out loud.

When Himchan came back to their spot Jongup was nowhere to be seen.
“Where’s Jongup?” He directed his question towards Zelo who opened his mouth to respond but got cut off by the leader.
“As far away from you as he could possibly get.” Yong Guk scoffed.
“Very funny.” Himchan responded hands once again set onto his hips, pearls of water dripping from his hair.
Zelo nudged his elbow into Yong Guks side; the older grumbled and dropped his head on his arms, turning it away from the others he closed his eyes.
The pink haired boy chuckled at the leaders childish sulking.
“He’s at the Kiosk.” Zelo replied happily, Yong Guk rolled over to glare at the maknae.
Himchan send him a wink and his heels.
“Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do either!” Yong Guks yelled towards him.
Himchan stopped in his tracks, a mixture of shock and amusement plastering his face before busting out in hysterical laughter.
Zelo joined in with him, holding his belly and gasping for air.
Yong Guk smashed his palm against his head.

“That’s not the best thing to say if you want to keep me from….”

“You freaking know what I mean!” Yong Guk yelled his face covered in a deeply embarrassed red blush.
Zelo patted the leaders shoulder, his body still shaking from laughter while he held his belly and shook his head.

Himchan caught his breath after a while and turned around once more; waving his hand in the air he walked towards the kiosk.

“Hyung you’re so funny!” Zelo said his voice still interrupted by chuckles as he looked at the leader.
“Oh shut up!” Yong Guk mumbled and dropped down on his belly again, head resting on his arms.
He heard Zelo giggle, then the sound of him shifting on the towels.
Soft locks tingled over his waist as Zelo lay down and dropped his head on his lower back.
The younger grabbed his book again and flipped through the pages.
“It’s ok hyung I like that stupid side to you.” He mocked and Yong Guk buckled his back a little, almost making the others head fall off.
“Hey! Don’t call me stupid or you gotta find something else to rest your head on!”
Zelo chuckled a little and Yong Guk closed his eyes, enjoying the little moment of quiet and rest he had missed for too long.

Himchan couldn’t find Jongup at the kiosk so he decided to walk a little further towards a second small pier that was located behind the white kiosk building.
The sun was burning hotly from the sky and the sand was almost painfully heated to walk on.
There were barely any people on this side of the beach, only an older lady sitting in a camp-chair in the shadow underneath the pier and two girls sleeping on their towels in the bright sun.

He walked up the stairs, the wood creaking under his steps.
His eyes scanned the area and he found Jongup sitting on the wooden planks a half empty bottle of water and the remains of ice cream wrapping paper next to him.
“Hey runaway.” He mocked and walked up to him, shading the others body with his shadow.
Jongup turned around a displeased look on his face.
“What not happy to see me?” Himchan said with a laugh.

He ran his hand through Jongups hair playfully, his fingertips brushing over a little area of his neck and the other flinched.

“Do you hate it that much?” he asked his voice a little wavy.
Jongup jumped to his feet, knocking the water bottle over, the water spilled on the floor and dripped down between the planks.
“You’re not even serious!” Jongup barked.
Himchan blinked a few times, letting the others outburst and his words sink into his brain.
“What if I were? Would you be ok with it?” Himchan retoured, trying to hide the hint of hope that was about to capture his voice.
Jongup frowned.
“I don’t know.”
“How about we find it out?” Himchan said persistent and got a hold of Jongups hand, intertwining their fingers.
Jongup tried to release from his grip but Himchan held on too tight.
This was no longer a game, it was no longer teasing, Himchan felt it as his fingers wrapped around Jongups hand.
He wanted to hold on to him.
He couldn’t quiet determined where it came from or what had triggered his heart to beat just a little bit faster as he looked at Jongup.
His eyes scanned the others features from the delicate shape of his nose to the fine curve of his pinkish lips over the the sharp line of his jaw.
Finally his glance reached his eyes and Jongup looked back at him, a little anxiously, a little uneasy.
Somewhere along the way his game had turned into something more serious and from the warmth that spread through his body, the way his chest felt tight and his breath got swallow he knew that he didn’t even want to change it.

“You know I’m stubborn and stupid.”
He said as Jongup was about to break of their eye contact and the other looked back again, a curious expression taking over his face.
“And most of the time I’m very, very slow.”
His fingers squeezed around Jongups hand a little and the corner of his lips raised just a bit as he smiled about his own confession.
“Do you think you can you deal with an idiot like me?”

Jongups eyes stayed furrowed but his lips formed a little smile at the words.
His eyes wandered down to look at their hand that were still intertwined and a little shaky as Himchans body had been taken over by a slight nervous tremble.
He bit on his lips, trying to keep them from forming a bright smile at the sight.

“I will think about it.” He said as he looked back at his older bandmate, the others lips parted in astonishment, while the reply sank into his system.
This time it was Jongup who squeezed the others hand lightly, no longer able to suppress the smile from sneaking onto his lips.

Himchan couldn’t help but feel a little overwhelmed, his heart kept throbbing against his ribcage and the blood rushed through his ears loudly.
His limbs kept shaking and he wasn’t able to stop them from doing so.
He kept scanning Jongups face for hints, maybe the younger had turned the tables and was now joking with him instead but no such sign could be found on his handsome features.
The only thing Himchan noticed was the bright smile that graced his lips and the way his eyes narrowed into little crescents framed by long lashes.
His body almost mechanically moved a step closer to the other and Jongups face dropped.

Jongup swallowed hard as his eyes roamed over Himchans face.
His first impulse was to draw back but he remained on the spot instead, mesmerized by the way the others eyes seemed to embrace him.
Himchans hand found its way to his cheek and he brushed the back of his hand over it softly.
Jongup felt himself holding his breath as his eyes remained locked with Himchans, the others hand resting under his chin, making him lift his head a little.
He felt Himchan tracing the outline of his bottom lip with his thumb and his lips twitched at the touch.
His throat felt dry and a pleasurable ache filled his chest as his heart seemed to burst behind his ribcage.
He saw Himchans eyes disappear behind dark lashes as he leant in a little, his breath tingling over his lips.
He couldn’t move at all, feeling frozen to the spot as warm puffs of breath danced over his skin.
Himchan hesitated to close the gap between them, giving him the opportunity to draw back but Jongup felt the chance to back out slip through his fingers as his hand pressed the other ones tightly.
He felt a short smile twitch over Himchans lips and right when he slowly closed his eyes he felt the others lips softly graze over his own.
It was a short, soft and gentle touch and Jongup couldn’t believe just how tender the other could be.

Himchan straightened his back again and dropped his hand from the others chin.
His eyes fluttered open slowly and through the haze he could see Jongup with his eyes close, his fingers tracing over his lips softly as if to make sure of the touch.

He held on to the others hand tightly as they walked back to the others.
When they reached their spot Yong Guk and Zelo were sound asleep, both lying on their bellies next to each other under the sunshade which Yong Guk had probably sat up while they were gone.
He smiled a little when he noticed Yong Guks hand lying on top of Zelos, his eyes wandered to his own hand that was still holding on to Jongup and a soft tingle crawled through his bones.

“Seems like a good idea to me” he whispered and Jongup peeked at the sleeping bandmates then smiled softly.

They dropped down on Jongups towel which was rather shaded as well, laying close to each other on the tiny bit of space.
Himchan wrapped an arm around the younger boy who tried to push him off at first, a slight note of red on his cheeks.
He wiggled in his arm but dropped his resistance when he figured Himchan wasn’t going to release him.
Jongups head dropped on Himchans shoulder and he closed his eyes, sighing comfortably.

After a while Himchan heard the others breathe going steadily and his chest rising evenly against his body. He looked at Jongup lying in his arms, brushed his fingertips over the others cheek softly.
Jongups lips twitched lightly and the corner of his mouth rose hinting a little smile.
Himchan couldn’t help but smile back at him, astonished by the little warm tingle that spread through his chest as he watched the younger boy sleep.

Maybe this had been the best bad idea he had ever had.
And maybe he would have to apologize to Yong Guk one of these days for breaking his promise.

Chapter 1: THAT WAS THE CUTEST EVER. Oh my god that made my heart flutter so much, it was like I was in Jongup's position! I can't describe how fckn cute this was. Himchan teasing him, but then started to mean it just destroyed my heart. I feel so complete & happy & all fluffy after reading this. It was so endearing & funny to see how BangHim would bicker & how Guk would mess up his words, making him face palm. That was so funny. I just really enjoyed the sweet friendship of BangHim in this. Then freaking Zelo laughing at Guk telling Himchan off about Jongup made me feel so bubbly inside. I just loved Zelo's laughing in this, I could picture him so well & it just made me smile. I was absolutely losing it when I read Himchan putting on the lotion on Jongup. Just oh my god. Then the kiss? That was the sweetest & most precious kiss ever. That was so cute. I got butterflies while reading that. Like a million or something because I felt like Jongup at that moment. This whole thing was just perfection & it put such a huge smile on my face. This was such a sweet, precious little story. I loved it so much. Thank you for writing it <3
