A wonderful day, to read a book.
A wonderful day, to sit outside by the balcony with my headphones on, and not disturbing my peace.

Yes, I read.
I may look like a bad girl on the outside, but I'm actually a book worm, and even though I dress up like an emo scene girl, I'm actually approachable but people seem to do that otherwise.

Whatever.
I don't really care what people think about me or say about me. All I know is that I'm just regular girl minding my own business, and not amusing myself with wannabes or attention freaks.

Anyway, back to reading.
Sitting here, with my back the wall and my on the railing is really cool. The view is nice, the wind is very breezy, and it's quiet.
The only bad thing about it is I am wearing a dress.

Damn.

I HATE dresses.

To be honest, I just dislike it because it's not me and I don't get compliments by my classmates. I get ridiculed. Especially by that girl in our class who is so girly, and could make anyone girly in like, point five seconds.

Dresses were never really my thing, but I was forced to wear it at our family reunion, which is going on right now but I chose to spend some time reading instead of interacting with my relatives.

So, here I am reading outside the balcony by our beach house. Oh, I forgot to mention that my family owns a beach house and yes, we are rich. So what right? I don't care if we're richer than the people here. I'm just a person, that's it.

Honey, why don't you come down and take a walk? My mom asks me with her signature smile on her face.

I closed my book, left it in my room and came down with my head phones around my neck. I slipped on my high cut converse and walked out to the beach. Mom's ideas are always the best. I wore the headphones and started playing Backstreet Boys.

I'm forever a fan even if KPOP exists in my life.

So, while walking around, I stopped at a certain spot and squatted by the sand. Looking at a sand crab crawling about and getting washed by the waves coming in strongly. I slightly giggled at how it would try to crawl away fast, but the waves would always hit the poor guy.

I stood back up and continued walking.
My ears were starting to hurt so I stopped my iPod and removed my earphones, then wrapped it around my neck again as I continued walking.

Since I wasn't looking, I got hit on the head. 
By a volleyball.
Damn.

Ah... I grunted and touched my head.

Hey! Sorry, are you alright? I looked up and saw the first boy that ever made my heart jump.

I...I'm fine... I rubbed my head slightly while I frowned.

Sorry about that. He apologized again.

It's alright. I wasn't looking anyway. I looked down and grabbed the ball then gave it back to him. Here's your ball back. You might want to get back to your game. I nodded at his friends who were waiting.

Oh, yeah I should. He chuckled a bit.

Cute.

I should get back to my family now. I purposely turned around slowly and took my time on walking away. Just in case he calls me.

But, he didn't...

I turned around as I stopped. Yeah?

What's your name? He asked me. 
Mika. Yours? I asked him back.

Damn.

He approached me. Can I...see you again? 
I guess...? I'm only here until tomorrow. I replied.

If only I wasn't staying here for one day and one night. Sigh...

That's alright. Tomorrow morning then? Before the sunrises?

Is he kidding me?

Before the sun rises? Why? I asked.

Because, watching the sun rise with a girl, whom I just met, is day one.

Day one of courtship. He smiled again.

K. How can I not say no?

Sure...tomorrow it is then. I slightly smiled and this time, I walked off at my usual pace. Looks like I'll be sleeping early tonight.

Beauty sleep.
