Jongdae's not much of a flirt. It's a shame Yi Xing isn't either, but they figure something out.

Disclaimer: I might claim that Jongdae is my baby and that I will one day marry Yi Xing, but neither of these things are actually true. ._. I own nothing but the writing. The scenario is heavily inspired by something in the Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong.

Uh, this was meant to be the prologue to a new QMi fic I am planning, but somehow Chen and Lay decided to awkward everything up and not just have . ._. So this happened. It's an AU, with sorcerer!Chen and bartender!Lay, and for the purposes of this fic, they are in China and Jongdae is Kyuhyun's cousin. Therefore the noona he mentions is Kyuhyun's sister. Please do not question my logic as it will only confuse everything. ._. Is this a gratuitous smushing of my two OTPs together? Yes.

Chapter 1: I have a confession to make: I've re-read this fic so many times that it's almost embarrassing. But then it's so good. And I don't know why I keep re-reading it. Q _ Q I even saved it in my bookmarks bar because well - quick access makes me happy. LOL </3 what is my life. But thank you for creating this even though it's just a oneshot.
