I opened the door to see that the lights were still off. I sighed and took off my shoes and went straight for the lighswitch ahead of me. "IS ANYBODY HERE?" I yelled as I turned the lights on. I was standing in an empty living room filled with shirts, pants, and other clothes were tosses around with. "You guys are such pigs.." I muttered to myself.

I went to the kitchen to see a note on the refridgerator. I grabbed a bottle of water as I took the note in my hand.

"Maybe he's planning something, just for us," I said to myself as I took a sip of my water. I quickly glanced at my clothes to see I was still in my yoga shorts and tank top. I went to Sunggyu's room to see if I had left any clothes from previous visits.

Sunggyu has been my boyfriend for almost 4 years now, and I've known his friends, Sungyeol, Sungjong, Myungsoo, Dongwoo, Hoya, and Woohyun, for a while now. They're pretty used to me visiting and staying over night at their dorm where they all live together. Although we're a couple, it seems like I always tag along with him and the guys. It's pretty fun, but I want to experience a little something romantic when I'm with Sunggyu. The most romantic thing he's done was plan a picnic at the park, but he invited the guys along with us and we all ended up getting soaking wet from the thunderstorm that poured down on us that day. 

"I really hope he has something planned today," I said. I found a box under his bed that contains some of my clothes in them. I was determined to find a cute outfit to impress Sunggyu. I rumaged through all the clothes, flinging them everywhere in the room. I found a cute white shirt that had a big pink heart on the front, and sleek black leggings that are under a pair of dark blue shorts. I checked the mirror and smiled to myself as to why I chose this outfit. It was the same thing I wore when I met Sunggyu, 4 years ago. It brought a smile to my face.

Suddenly, I heard the door to the dorm room open. I quickly hid behind the bedroom door to see who it was.

"IS ANYONE HERE?" a familiar voice said. I came out from behind the door. Sungjong was there with his back turned towards me. I ran up behind him and hugged him, getting a high pitched yelp from him. "OH, noona, it's only you. Don't scare me like that!" He turned around and hugged me properly. 

"Sorry, Jongie, you're very huggable," I replied. "Does this outfit look nice?"

He stood back and examined my outfit. He nodded and clapped his hands in approval. "Well done noona, but if I may suggest.." he said running into his room to get something. He reappeared in front of me with a pair of light pink converse, and a navy blue varsity jacket. "..you should wear this as well." I slipped on the shoes as he put on the jacket behind me. "Ah, very nice! Sunggyu hyung's heart will explode from such cuteness!" I blushed at the comment. I hope he planned something nice..

"So..Jongie?" I nudged as we headed out of the dorm. "Is Sunggyu a..romantic type?"

Sungjong stopped for a moment to think. "He hasn't been romantic with you yet, has he?" I looked at the ground as we entered the elevator. "Ah, so he hasn't," he chuckled.

"Is it because of me? Is he holding back or something?"

"Well, you're hyung's first girlfriend, noona. He's kind of new to this, even if it's already been four years." We stepped out of the elevator onto the ground floor towards the exit. "But, I don't think you should worry. Hyung's got some a romantic side on him, I know he does. I mean why else would he watch so many chick flicks?"

My eyes widened at the statement. "HE WATCHES CHICK FLICKS?"

"Shhhhh!" Sungjong said as he covered my mouth with his hand. "I never told you that, okay? I caught him watching one, and he made me clean the dishes for two weeks!"

I couldn't help but giggle. "What was he watching?"

"...500 Days of Summer.." he replied walking a little faster.

"REALLY?" I couldn't control my laughter now. My boyfriend. The charming, 'cool' and 'chic' Kim Sunggyu liked watching a love movie? Maybe he is just too shy to show his romantic side..

We arrived at the park to find the others sitting and lying down in the grass.

"Hyung, your girlfriend's here!" Sungjong waved to the others. They all turned their and looked at us. My eyes met Sunggyu's and he smiled. He got up and started walking towards me, but Woohyun beat him to me.

"Hello, my love, how are you on this fine day at the park?" he said giving me a hug. 

"Ha, I'm fine, Woohyun, thanks!"

"NAM WOOHYUN YOU GET YOUR GREASY SELF OFF OF MY GIRLFRIEND!" Sunggyu screamed from behind. Woohyun let go. But before he headed to the others, he kissed my hand. He ran back to the guys with Sungjong, but was pushed down to the ground by Sunggyu. I knew he was just playing with him, but I couldn't help but like the fact that he was protective over me.

"Hey," Sunggyu said as he came towards me.

"Hey yourself," I replied walking in his direction. We stopped in front of each other and he embraced me in a hug.

"WAHHHHH!" the others screamed from behind. "KISS HER! KISS HER! KISS HER!"

Sunggyu and I laughed as he turned his head towards them. "Yah! When are you guys gonna stop yelling that!"

"Until you actually do it!" Myungsoo replied.

"JUST DO IT HYUNG!" Sungyeol added. "OR ARE YOU SAVING SOMETHING BETTER FOR LATER!" The others began to snicker as Sunggyu blushed and turned his head back to me.

"Do you wanna ditch them with me?" he asked. "I know somewhere we could go. Just the two of us."

I couldn't miss this opportunity. I nodded my head enthusiastically, and soon he grabbed my hand and we ran in the opposite direction of the guys.

"WAIT, WHERE ARE YOU TWO GOING?" Dongwoo screamed.

"DON'T THINK OF DITCHING ME HERE WITH THESE FOOLS!" Hoya screamed.

"WHAT? WE AREN'T FOOLS!" they screamed back at him. They all continued to yell at each other as Sunggyu and I ran off laughing at all of them.

We slowly stopped running as we had to catch our breath. I looked up, still panting, to see that we were near a lake that overlooked the city. I looked back at Sunggyu who was still catching his breath, with his hands on his knees and his back arched over. I went to him and hugged him.

"Thank you," I said.

"For..what.." he panted.

"For this time we have to spend with each other. Alone," I smiled. He got up and hugged me back. I nuzzled my face into his neck. This was nice. I rarely got hugs from him, and when I did, they were very special to me. I felt secure and comfortable this close to his chest while his arms were wrapped around me. "Why can't this always happen?" I muttered into his chest.

"What did you say, jagiya?"

I stepped back. "See, that hug.. was nice. But we rarely show any form of skinship."

"We hold hands a lot," he said in defense.

"Yeah, but that isn't enough to me," my voice was rising.

"It's not enough?" he asked as he tilted his head.

"Sunggyu, I love you. I honestly do. But throughout the years of our relationship, I haven't had one romantic moment with you!"

He stepped back a bit. "I'm sorry.. It's just that I have to take care of the kids and-"

"IT'S ALWAYS LIKE THAT!" I replied as my casual talk turned into yelling. "'IT'S ALWAYS FOR THE KIDS!' 'I NEED TO TAKE CARE OF THE KIDS!' 'I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE THE KIDS BY THEMSELVES!' IT'S ALWAYS ABOUT THEM! IT'S NEVER ABOUT US! SUNGGYU, WE HAVEN'T EVEN HAD OUR FIRST KISS! SOMETIMES I WONDER IF YOU HAVE ANY ROMANCE IN YOU!" I stopped and began to breathe heavily. I looked at him, and he had his face towards the ground. He gave off a serious vibe as he tilted my chin up and made eye contact with me.

"You don't think I'm romantic?" he asked. He seemed very tense at this point. I was nervous to answer, so I nodded. He let go of my chin and chuckled a bit. "Have you ever thought I get nervous when it comes to romantic stuff?"

"But Sungjong said you watch chick flicks all the time, so that shouldn't be a problem!" I blurted. I gasped and realized what I just blurted out and quickly covered my mouth with my hands.

Sunggyu's little eyes widened and looked a bit angry. "..he..told you?" Again, I was scared to answer, so I just nodded.

He removed the hands from my mouth and held them. "Look, jagiya. We've been together for over four years, and it's been the best four years of my life. Although we've been together for a while, I can't help but still feel nervous around you. You ARE my first girlfriend. Everytime I see you, my heart beats faster and faster, like the first time I saw you. When it comes to love, I don't know what to do. I want to go on dates with you, but I can't trust the kids by themselves." I turned my head and sighed, but he moved so that his face was in front of mine. "But, I know I should learn how to trust them on their own since they aren't actually kids. Jagiya, do you have any idea why I watch 'chick flicks'?"

I thought for a moment and shook my head. My head was jumbled up with so many thoughts, I didn't know what to think.

"Well, it's because.. I want to know what love is. From cuddling, to holding hands, to dates, to even marriage." He placed his forehead against mine and looked me deeply in the eyes. "And the reason we haven't had our first kiss yet is because I want to save it for when we..hopefully..get married."

I looked at him in complete shock. I never expected him to be the one to think of our relationship as marriage.

"You probably think I'm an idiot, don't you? For never showing you how much I love you, hm?" he asked.

I sniffled a bit and nodded. My eyes were tearing up.

"Well, I am. I am a pabo. But," he confessed. "I'm an idiot who only looks at you. When I saw you coming to the park with Sungjong, don't think I don't recall you wearing this outfit before. I remembered you sitting there reading your book wearing this outfit when I first approached you and said hi. I remember every single moment we had with each other since the day we met," he confessed. "Do you remember everytime we hang out with the guys, something stupid would always happen between us? Like when we went to the beach and I carried you all the way into the water and dropped you in it? We kept calling each other idiots and couldn't stop splashing and yelling at each other? I remember it like it was yesterday, because we were having so much fun and your smile shined so brightly that day! You were smiling like an idiot from so much happiness actually!" he laughed.

"Yeah," I agreed. "That was a fun day." I wrapped my arms around Sunggyu. "I guess we're both idiots, huh?"

He smiled. "Well, I'm an idiot for not realizing how you wanted more 'us' time. And I'm sorry for always tagging the guys along and for them always teasing us. But, they love us. Together, as a couple. We're just two idiots who are in love is all."

I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist. "Then let's be idiots together who only look at each other."

He nodded. "And..I hope you don't mind me saying this," he added. "But, I would really hope we can save our first kiss for..when I see you walking down the aisle in a beautiful white dress to stand by me be with me forever." He blushed. I never expected this to come out of his mouth.

"I'm willing to wait for it," I exclaimed. "But I'm expecting more PDA from now on, mister. Picnics, movies, days, just to the two of us."

"Pabo, of course I will. I will show the whole world how much I love you. Heck, I'll carry you back to the guys bridal style if you want," he chuckled. 

"Who are you calling a pabo, you pabo?" I snickered. He held me close again, and kissed my forehead.

"I love you, pabo." he said.

"I love you too, pabo."
