The jealousy was burning in her.
No, she wasn't in love with her.
She was just jealous of her best friend's new friend.
She was a bad friend, she was aware of that.
But, she was sure that her love for her best friend was really strong.
Stronger than anything.
She treasured her best friend.
But, she didn't know how to show it.
It wasn't easy for a person as different as her.
She does bad things, she knows.
But, her intentions are usually for the good.
If it wasn't, it was probably because she didn't know what else to do.
She really tried.
But, it seemed as if she hadn't tried enough.
Maybe it was just best they weren't friends.
If that would make her best friend happy, then maybe she should just leave.
Enough is enough.
She's tired; her best friend's tired.
Just go, her brain whispered.
But, don't leave, he had said.

Enough was enough, she told herself.
It’s been going on for way too long.
She had tried but nothing changed.
She really had to put a stop to things.
Enough was enough.
It’s time for a break.
There had been enough fights;
enough tears;
enough sleepless nights;
enough everything.
Just..
Enough.
. . .
How long has it been?
How much did she think she could actually do?
How much did she think she could survive?
How long was she planning for it to last?
Had all efforts gone to waste?
Was this considered giving up?
Or was it just a simple break she needed to take urgently?
Was this a time to relax?
A time to think things out?
What happened?
What happened while she had been distracted?
What happened while she had been distressed?
Had anything changed?
. . .
Questions, questions, questions.
They were endless.
And so were the drama and problems that keep coming.
She was tired.
Give her a break.
She just needed things to stop.
Just for a while. Not too long.
She is a responsible person.
She wanted to escape from reality.
Maybe not forever; but just for the time being.
She wanted life to give her a break and let her think things through.
She couldn't help but wonder, if she disappears...
would anyone care?
