Preview:

         The music from each ride was playing and tinkling in the air. The bright lights from the carousel gleamed brightly and the horses moved in circles, going up and down repeatedly. She smiled and looked at everyday, taking in the view, forgeting the fact that she was separated from her cousin. She turned around with a smile and noticed an awfully familiar handsome man standing there, doing the same as she was, looking at the view. Her smile dropped and her eyes widened. Suddenly, a sound of a firework going off was heard and the sky was painted with multiple colors. However, she didn't care. She looked at the man in shock. The man smiled widely and looked at the sky, but then he noticed the girl as she was staring at him. He, too, dropped his smile and turned towards her. His eyes were full of shock, recognition, pain, and confusiom.  Crowds of people were rushing in back and forth and the place was crazy, but the two of them stood there are stared at each other, as if time for both of their worlds stopped. The man was the first one to move and he walked towards her. One step. Two steps. Three steps. Each step he took, her heart pounded hard inside her chest. When he almost reached her, she suddenly stuck out her hands and laughed dryly, "No no no no no no. Stop. Leave." The man stared at her, hurt, but stopped his movements.

"Please listen to me." he said softly with his eyes filled with guilt. She narrowed her eyes and shook her head in disbelief. She felt her heart hammer in her ribcage like it never did before.

"Did you ask her to do this?! To bring me here?! To make me look at you again and feel that knife stab back into my heart again?! Please just, just, stop!" she cried, weakly. She looked at the ground, refusing to look at his face, but knowing deep in her heart that all she wanted to do was jump right back into his safe and comfortable arms.

He softened and bit his lip before saying, "I'm so sorry, but I didn't ask her to bring you here. But I'm just so happy to see you." he reached for her hand and she flinched away. He blinked, hurt, and retracted his hand and clenching it into a fist. "I believed that on the first day I met you to the day you left me and to today, it was all the work of His. And seeing you here today, it must be Him giving me another chance. I'm not going to let you go again this time." He grinned slightly and took ahold of her hand quickly, not giving her enough time to react. She looked at him with wide eyes. "Meeting you was fate." he whispered before pressing his soft lips onto hers.
