Gayoon ran her fingers through her hair, pulling back the strains of hair that had covered her face. She dared not turn on the lights. Every piece of furniture that had made this place a home had become foreign.  Every inch of her felt numb. She only felt death slowly creeping towards her; it was enough to swallow her whole. She slid down the wall behind her and cowered into a little ball.

Reality hit her with its bare brutality. She had been stripped of the single most important thing in her life.

The room echoed with her sudden outburst. She broke into tears that smudged her makeup; its black ink ran down her cheeks continuously. She wailed out his name over and over again as though it was the only thing that tied her to the thin thread of life. She struggled to breath. In her voice ,one could hear the sound of her heart breaking; it cracked and shattered, it yearned in sorrow. In her tears, one can see the blood that poured out of it.
