My Sweet Angel

"Appa what was Umma like?" A young boy aged ten looked up at his father who was smiled as his eyes glistened slightly as he

searched for words, "Jae Hyun my son, your Umma was the most beautiful man ever, I even remember the first day we met.." he

looked as somewhere more like nothing in particular as he let his mind wonder back in time,

flashback

Yunho was just a 19 year old boy, the typical boy next door, a good son and an excellent student, many looked up and admired him

for his confidence and striking good looks, many girls have fallen for him, they ever were lucky enough to date him but none of

his relationships lasted for more than a month, but he always believed he'll find that right person one day, he also loved to help

people therefore he volunteer at a local hospital.

Yunho loved children hence him volunteering at a children's hospital, he even planned to have a big family once he found the right

person that will live next to him for the rest of his life, walking into the hospital he saw many children as he walked to the main auditurim

and he felt pained and sad that most of the children there wouldn't be able to have a normal life, and that is why he volunteer so

he can give these kids a reason to live, a reason to smile and no matter the challenge he would take it. Reaching the room he was

assigned to he heard a piano playing, tilting his head and carefully opened the door he slipped inside as saw a blonde hair

girl sitting at the piano playing a melody that touched one's inner self, it wasn't a sad melody but a powerful one that left a

strong impression, suddenly the girl looked up and Yunho's eyes widen, 'how can a girl be this beautiful' he thought. to him the

person before him looked like an Angel and they breifly made eye contact and he noticed it wasn't a girl but a boy, Yunho felt his

cheeks burn and knew he was blushing, the young boy tilted his head slightly and sweet smile played on the boys lip.

Yunho blushed once again and mentally slapped himself, never has he felt this warm and different around a boy, correction he never

looked at boys that way, he started contempleting if he was gay or not but his train of thoughts shattered when the boy started

singing and Yunho was taken aback, his voice was that of an Angel and all the kids around looked like they were hypontize by this

unknown person, once he was finished singing he stood and bowed as the children smiled and clapped while he greeted them like they knew

each other, was he a volunteer here as well? Yunho menatally asked himself when he saw the Angel, meaning the boy walking towards him

Yunho began to panic internally as the boy stood in front of him, he was a head shorter and thin too but still breathtaking to say

the least, "I'm sorry, did I take your time up?" he apologetically smiled and Yunho shook his head, "no no it's ok today is my first day

here and I wanted to get to know the place and the kids that come here for some fun" the boy smiled widely and reached out to

grab Yunho's hand, which felt like smooth silk.

Blushing Yunho followed the boy as he tug him towards the front of the room and and clapped his hands together to get all the kids

attention, "everyone, I would like you to meet my friend... um.. " he stopped and looked up at him with is brown doe like eyes, he gulped

and bowed, "Hello, Jung Yunho" the boy smiled and turned back to the children, "my friend Jung Yunho, be nice to him ok? he will take

care of all of you and make you smile when I'm not here~ " the kids nodded and went back to talking amognst themselves as Yunho looked

at the boy and scratched the back of his head, "thank you for the introduction..umm" he boy giggled the most stunning giggle and held

his hand out, "Kim Jaejoong at your service!" he smiled warmly as Yunho shook his hand hoping his own wasn't sweating then the question

finally left my mouth, "so are you a volunteer here as well?" he was hoping Jaejoong would say yes but instead his smile faded a bit

and quickly returned as he shook his head, "not excatly, I'm just here a lot of times"

Yunho was confused by the young boys words but brushed it aside as Jaejoong took ahold of his hand once again, "come on there's still some time left can you play the piano?" Yunho nodded and looked down at their hands and smiled, he hestantly let go of the other's hand as he walked to the piano and slowly began to play and a softer melody filled the room, looking up at Jaejoong who seemed to be in trance smiled and sang, he was writing the lyrics in his head and sang it along with the sound of the melody, amazed Yunho knew this boy was different but shortly after they were done, it was time for the children to return to their rooms as they both accompany the last little one who turned to look up at Jaejoong, "hyung, will you come after.." the boy was stopped by Jaejoong placing his finger on his own lips and winked, "we'll see okay? now go in and rest"

tilting his head in confusion Yunho followed Jaejoong back towards the main lobby, "well Jung Yunho, Yunnie~ it was a pleasure in meeting you it felt like I know you for a long time, sounds silly right? but it something call fate" Yunho blushed at the nickname and the statement and tilted his head, "fate? is it real?" giggling Jaejoong responded with a smile, "shall we find out? well I will see you around" and with that Jaejoong was out of Yunho's sight, leaving him with unanswered questions.

Two weeks passed since Yunho met Jaejoong and the whole week he hadn't seen the boy anywhere, not to seem sadden but Yunho couldn't lie

he missed seeing the angelic face even if they met only once, but his breath taking beauty was imprinted on Yunho's mind and he felt like he was missing something, a piece of himself. and that he didn't know if he'll ever see him again, and one day when he was sitting in the outside courtyard of the hospital and too preoccupid with his thoughts he didn't feel that someone sat next to him, not until the person placed his hand on his, Yunho looked up and to his side as he found himself looking at a smiling Jaejoong, who had now black short hair rather than blonde, his sudden new appearence only made him more beautiful as Yunho was at a loss of words, "cat got yout tongue Yunnie?" Jaejoong teased making Yunho blush and unexpectably he wrapped his arms around the smaller male's small body for a quick tight hug, "Jaejoong! I missed you.. I mean... I... so how you been?" he laughed and laid his head on Yunho's shoulder, "it's ok to say you missed me, because I missed you too" Yunho looked surprised and felt his heart race as he looked at Jaejoong and also noticed him blushing, Yunho was still confused about his preference but at that time he knew he wanted to be like that with Jaejoong.

Yunho bit his lip and asked Jaejoong, "where have you been, really?" he felt Jaejoong stiffen then he looked up and smiled, "mmm around..." burrowing his brows Yunho asked, "around?" earning a nod Jaejoong continued, "yup~ i've been around, you just haven't been looking hehe" Yunho was more confused but didn't ask anymore thinking he'll get another answer that twisted his question, Jaejoong on the other hand looked at Yunho with a soft smile and his eyes flashed saddness then he shook his head and hugged Yunho, he didn't know why he wanted to be around the older male, he never felt this comfortable around anyone but knew Yunho was special and for the next six months, both males have grown more and more attached and attracted to each other, Jaejoong would alwasy disappears for days or weeks at times but Yunho never pressured him on telling him where he was or went as long as he could be with him then he was happy, and one day Yunho found out why.

One cold rainy day, Yunho was at the hospital with the kids and Jaejoong when the youger boy by only two years tugged his sleeve, Yunho hummed and looked at the beauty next to him and smiled, even thought they both knew their feelings for the other neither one would speak up, "Yunnie, let's go out please... " Yunho couldn't help but chuckle at the his cuteness but shook his head, "it's raining hard Joongie, and I don't want you to get sick" pouting Jaejoong looked down, Yunho had a bad feeling all day and wanted to stay inside at all costs but Jaejoong was that type of person that gets his way, and they both walked under an umbrella to a nearby department store, everything went smoothly even Yunho thought he was over reacting with the feeling he had in the pit of his stomach.

Once they started to head back a girl angerly walked up to them and Yunho recognised her too late as she slapped him across his face, "you broke up woth me three days after we dated and for what? a guy?!" Jaejoong stood wide eyes next to me as I touched my stinging cheek and he frowned and stood in front of me protectivly, he didn't notice the cold rain hitting him, "back off! Yunho can date whoever he wants, and at least he made th right desicion in dumping someone like you, beacuse it isn't halloween and that mask of yours makes you like ugly" after mentioning her overly used makeup he smirked as the girl gasped, "you're a ! you turned Yunho gay! no likes gays anyways so go d ous all a favor and go rot in hell! " she yelled and pushed Jaejoong to the side not noticing the small steps, he fell down hard.

Yunho eyes widen and turned to the girl and yelled at her, not caring if he got wet, "what did he do to you?! you know what? I'm glad I broke up wth you you're no different than every in school, at least Jaejoong is pure and sweet, I don't even know I saw in you!" Yunho then turned his back and jumped down the three steps and saw Jaejoong clenching his chest, the fall was small, any one else would have gotten up but what Yunho didn't know was Jaejoogn wasn't a normal boy, Jaejoong started coughing blood up and clench his chest as he whimpered and called out to the older male, "Y..Yunnie.. t..take me to the hospital.. please!" nodding Yunho picked him up in his arms, noticing the lightness of boy and ran throught the rain and into the hospital lobby as nurses and doctors dropped what they were doing and rushed to take Jaejoong into the emergency room, there is when it hit him, how everyone knew him, how every doctor always greeted Jaejoong and knew him like he was part of them.

Yunho leaned against the wall as doctor after doctor ran in and out of the room that Jaejoong was in, and it didn't help at all that they were taking forever, as he leaned against the wall he started putting the pieces together, when an older doctor brought him back to reality, "you're one of the volunteers heres?" nodding Yunho waited for the man to speak of Jaejoong's condition, "how's Jaejoong?" i managed to choke out and the doctor slide his glasses off and looked at him, "Jaejoong is stable now but he shouldn't have gone out in the rain, since he was young he had a bad heart and body and whatever happened today made it worse... you may go see him now" Yunho felt his heart drop, 'that's why everyone knows him because he was here all along, but why hadn't he told me?' Yunho asked himself as he quietly walked into the small room and saw Jaejoong laying on the bed with an oxygen mask and tube's coming out of him, Yunho felt his heart break seeing him like this, he always thoguht he was healthy.

Yunho walked to the bed side and saw Jaejoong was awake and when he saw Yunho, his eyes teared up, 'why is he sad, no don't cry my sweet Angel..' Yunho thought to himself as Jaejoong started to remove the oxygen mask which for him at the moment was a big risk, Yunho was shaking his head but Jaejoong being the stubborn kid he is, pulled it off and looked sadly at Yunho, "Y..Yunnie..I'm sorry.. I should have told you... but.. " Yunho shook his head and stopped him midsentence, he wasn't angry at all, as long as Jaejoong was safe and healthy he didn't care what illness he had, and he decided to tell Jaejoong his feelings for him, not by words but by actions. Yunho leaned forward and captured the younger males lips in a sweet kiss, even if it lasted for mere seconds to them it lasted for hours, eventually Yunho had to pull away and looked at the blushing Jaejoong and smiled, "I don't know when it start, I guess it was the first moment I saw you but I feel for you, Kim Jaejoong I love you please be mine" Yunho stood there as Jaejoong's eyes widen and tears formed, "Y..Yunnie.. b..but my illness.." Yunho shook his head and caressed the boys cheek softly, "I don't care about your illness, I will take care of you and keep you safe, forever" Jaejoong smiled and nodded before holding his lover's hand, "and I love you Yunnie~ you actually made me life a lot brighter and I got you this earlier" Jaejoong held up a small box with a necklace which had an Angel feather hanging on it, Yunho smiled and kissed him once again.

After Yunho learned of Jaejoong's illness, he learned that he doesn't have a lot of time left, but surprisingly his body over the months looked better and better but no one knew when he would collapse again yet both Yunho and Jaejoong's releationship grew stronger and deeper, thats when the 20 year old Yunho asked the barely 18 year old Jaejoong to marry him.

"Your mother was the most beautiful husband on that altair, we were young yes, but I don't regret marrying him. soon after I worked hard to get a job and we got our own apartment, and soon after adopted you son, you were just a little boy but your mother would sing to you as he cooked, But our days grew shorter as just four years after we married he started to lose weight and got sicker, and one day it was just to much, we always wanted a big family but we were blessed with you and your sisters." Yunho smiled sadly as he kneeled next to the boy and looked straight ahead, "and where is Umma now?"

Yunho looked at the boy as a single tear escape his eyes, "your mother is where he belongs, among the Angels, and alwasy watching over us, just close your eyes and you'll see him there" Yunho reached out in front of him and touched a gray tombstone "Here lies Jung Jaejoong, a loving Father, husband and friend, a true Angel from Heaven" Yunho read the letterings as the young boy hugged the granite and kissed it, "Umma, I miss you and sisters miss you too but Appa always tell us funny stories, please always watch over us, I love you" Yunho smiled and said his own feelings, "Joongie, I hope you're doing ok, please take care of yourself until we meet again, I love you Jaejoong, now and always"

"Every day we never failed to visit Umma, and I would never forget how Appa looked when he told us the story of Umma, it's been 60 years since then, since Umma left for the skies, and not once has Appa re married or dated, he alwasy said his heart belong to only Umma and he made sure to keep Umma's image alive.. and one day I came back from work to see Appa and he was laying in bed, at first I thought he was sleeping but it wasn't a normal sleep it was the eternal sleep, he had a smile on his lips, Appa was hugging two pictures, one of Umma and him on their wedding day and the other of all five of us, we were all smiling, and around his neck was the first gift Umma gave him, the Angel feather necklace... as I stood there crying, it wasn't from sadness but happiness, Umma finally came back to take Appa away with him, after 60 years they are together again, Appa always said he was an Angel, he was an Angel sent from above.. "
