Excerpt
“What are you people up to? Weren’t you all just BFF-ing away just a few days ago?” Jeong Min shrieked and her heart shook a little at how he genuinely looked frantic. “GGG is supposed to last forever, man!”
Min Chae did the only thing that she could think of doing then. Roughly, she shoved his head away, out of her sight, before warning him to stay away from her with a look of menace. She then turned away, ignoring the people who had gathered around Jeong Min, who was kicking up an unnecessary fuss.
Her heart sunk and she fought to keep her head high as she walked out of the classroom. If she ended things this way then at least, she knew, everybody could be spared from the hurt of the knowing the truth.
But what he said was true. She, too, had once strongly believed that the four of them was going last. Everyone else had thought so, too. Her brother, Min Woo, and the rest of his dance crew had foreseen a bright future for GGG. They were, what they said, a perfect concoction of four unique individuals, mixing well together to give the audience an exquisite experience.
It was all in the past now, though.
And it was not a time to lie to oneself now. Min Chae knew, very clearly, that despite everything, they had still spent some of the greatest times together. Those were the days when she had felt most alive and the happiest.
And yes, of course...
She was definitely going to miss those times.
