I felt bad for making Jonghyun the bad guy in my story so here's a oneshot dedicated to my blinger dongsaeng <3

You were rushing down the street, worrying about being late for your date with Jonghyun. Your boss suddenly decided to make you work late and your phone died before you could contact Jonghyun, so now you were just concentrating on getting to the restaurant you were supposed to meet him at. You decided to take a short cut through some allies,knowing it was the quickest way. When you were walking down the alley that was closest to the restaurant you ran into someone.

“I'm sorry” you quickly apologized and started to walk away but the person grabbed you and pulled you back, trapping you between him and the wall. You got a good look at him now, he was very tall and had an evil glint in his eyes that sent shivers down your spine.

“W-what do you want?” you tried to sound strong and unafraid, but failed. He never said a word, only moving closer to you. You quickly reached for the pepper spray in your purse but he grabbed your purse and tossed it across the alley. There was almost no space between the two of you now, you let out a scream as your last defense but you were cut off when he wrapped his large hand around your throat while the other moved to your thigh, slowly moving upward.

“LET GO OF HER!” angered voice yelled, a voice you'd know anywhere. Jonghyun was now running down the alley at full speed, fists clenched and ready to attack. Your attacker let out an annoyed growl and released your throat, turning all his attention on Jonghyun. You fell to the ground gasping for air and then you heard punches being thrown. They struggled for a bit until Jonghyun managed to pin the man on the ground.

“_______!RUN!” He looked at you and yelled. You got up and grabbed Jonghyun's hand, pulling him away from the man, and the two of you started running. You weren't sure if you were being chased by the man or not, but you didn't really wanna look back and find out. Before you knew it the two of you ended up in your apartment . You sank to the ground, exhausted from both the running and the shock of what just happened. Jonghyun sat beside you and pulled you in close to his chest, giving you the feeling of warmth and protection that only he could provide . He held you tightly for a while then pulled back and cupped your face in his hands.

“Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?” He scanned you up and down looking for any signs of injury and then his eyes landed your throat where there was,no doubt, a bruise starting to form “Does it hurt?” he asked. You simply nodded and reached up to touch the sore spot. He moved your hand away and gingerly kissed the bruise. He hugged you again and buried his face in your hair.

“ I was getting worried......you hadn't shown up and it was getting late and then I couldn't contact you.....and then I heard a scream.....I was so afraid ______-ah why were you even in that alley?”

“I'm sorry for worrying you.....my boss made me stay late and my phone died so I couldn't call you.....I took the alley as a short cut cause I didn't want to be late....and now out date is ruined because of me.”

He chuckled and ruffled your hair “Silly girl, it's not ruined! I'm gonna cook your favorite meal for you!” you raised your eyebrows at him “What?You don't think I can cook?”

“No, its not that! Its just.........well......you sure you don't want me to call Key and he can cook for us?”

“Yah! Have some faith in the guy who rescued you tonight! I can cook just as well as Kibum!Besides what kind of boyfriend would I be if I can't cook for my girlfriend?”

you sighed “Alright then go cook! Just don't catch the kitchen on fire!” He playfully punched your arm and you gasped “OMO!”

“What?!” he said instantly worried “Whats wrong?! I didn't even punch you that hard!”

“I.....I left my purse in that stupid alley!” you groaned and mentally kicked yourself

To your surprise he laughed and pulled out your purse from behind him. You instantly snatched it from him, hugging it. “But......how?”

“I saw it and grabbed it as we were running away” he said, still laughing at your reaction “I figured there was some important stuff in there.”

You threw your arms around his neck hugging him “Thank you so much for everything you did tonight.”

He wrapped his arms around you “Anything to keep my Jagiya safe and happy” He kissed your head

“Okay now I have to go make dinner!”

You let go of him and smiled at his back as he scurried to the kitchen wondering what you did to deserve such an amazing guy.
